Lioness
Well done to Berwick, you can only beat whats in front of you and the Bandits did the job well. Would be interested to hear the comments from those on the 4th bend about heat 13 - I thought Rusty was taken out by Vissing but it could just be that from the other end of the stadium it looked different and he actually had more room than I thought
Blantyre80
As I was walking out the stadium at the end of the match there was loud chants from the stand of "Sack Wolbert" and deservedly so. Absolutely no effort from him at all today and he should have been dropped months ago as he has done nothing to justify keeping his place as long as he has. I would also drop Christian Henry as he has made himself a liability continually coming back only drop out again with the same injury. He should be replaced as the team has suffered long enough with R/R between him and Dimitri and needs a chance of a run with 7 riders. The promotion have been far to slow to deal with poor performing riders this season and seemed to have forgotten their job is to provide entertainment to their paying customers as there has been very little this season (Dimitri and Anders aside who have both put the experienced riders in the team to shame time and time again) and its no surprise the crowds have been so low. It's not just the riders who need to get their act together.
emilali
What about Covatti for Wolbert? Wants to ride over here and he can't do any worse surely.

There was an area that Kev wasn't happy with in the middle of the 3rd bend and IMO rusty seemed to hit that... I firmly believe Claus gave him room! tyretrax
There is nothing like a well trained track staff and that was nothing like a well trained track staff. First test at replacing a fence panel----failed. Inspirational(?) Stewart Dickson absent- Dust heat one----fail. Start marshal who can't control riders at starting gate when they're on two minutes and doesn't know it's a two man race----fail If Colin Hamilton was raging today, we have been raging for most of the season---fail. We would rather see a rider try and fail than a rider fail to try.

I could see clearly and There was no contact Rusty just picked up grip and and lost it Vissing had left room not a lot but there was room hard but fair riding. Joseq7
We would rather see a rider try and fail than a rider fail to try. I couldn't agree more. I think it's a particular Scottish trait. We'd rather see someone of average ability give everything they have than a gifted fancy Dan who doesn't give a monkeys
Monarchlad
Gazc Ditto i left after heat 13 i couldn't stomach another ride from Wolbert as i still had my dinner to have and it is Mind Blowing that Christian Henry would return knowing he is not fit , you just don't know what you are going to get from one week to the next with this team but how Wolbert is still there is a mystery surely he has got to go now 2 points at home from your so called No1 is just woeful . The thing is and this isn't a go at Edinburgh but i wouldn't even consider signing another Asset from the east as it is my opinion that there averages are over-inflated due to the massive home track advantage they have and when they go elsewhere in general there average dips and in the case off Wolbert nose dives. And finally well done to the Bandits well desevered 4 points for them. The thing is today's performance goes against the grain from previous home performances were we have been strong we are a much better team than what we showed today get rid of Wolbert who has been carried most of the season and we would be on par with yourself's . Does this mean Theo as well?

We would rather see a rider try and fail than a rider fail to try. It has been one big fail with a few shining lights with Anders , Kasper & Dimitri Whilst Rusty & Theo get pass marks some weeks & rubbish other weeks and there lies the problem our young riders for the most part have shown up the so called heat leaders. Colin Hamilton should be raging at today if he wasn't i would be worried if they thought that was acceptable as you say we have put up with too much for too long and there reluctance to get rid off Wolbert when Stevie Wonder could have seen he wasn't cutting it has come home to roost. Start Marshall Yes he didn't realise there was only two rider's in that race easy to make mistake what i have noticed about him though is he spits the dummy if a rider takes his time coming to tapes shaking his head etc etc then the hand gestures to the Referees box not his place someone should tell him to decide if someone is delaying it is the referee and by Gesturing to the box could be seen as forcing the Ref's hand to make a decision. As i said in an earlier post i left after Ht 13 today as i really couldn't stomach Wolbert anymore it is a complete P1ss take off astronomical proportions and you can bet your bottom Dollar he will end up back at the Dump and be a 9pt rider once again i have no doubt about that and in light off today's final straw on Herr P1ss take we have decided to give Berwick a miss next week a place we alway's enjoy going nice drive & Really nice & friendly fan's but we will not fork out the best part off £100 to watch a so called No1 poottle round at the back ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. Gazc Does this mean Theo as well? He has also dropped more than a point from his starting average so yes his average is inflated in my opinion . highroad119
Not the best 16 quid spent this season, if ever a meeting looked likely to be called off this was it. Impressed by steen jensen. Great to see dimitri back but he is going to take a good few meetings to get back to his best. Not a great advert today im afraid.

george.m
Colin Hamilton should be raging at today if he wasn't i would be worried if they thought that was acceptable as you say we have put up with too much for too long Two flippin' seasons! I appreciate the 'new' promotion needed to find its feet last year, but seriously when decisions need to be made we seem to take too long. You can have all the marketing initiatives off the track and all the fancy presentation on it - girls singing the Eye of the Tiger and female start marshals in diving suits - what really matters is the business stuff. Seven riders, and a good rack week in week out. After today, Two Kevin Wolbert's is not the only one who's performance is under the microscope.
Joseq7
you still using the one who can't count to four Oh dear not this old toffee again. There were three ppl employed at the start gate in that fateful GP. Did she grab the checkered flag or did someone pass it to her? Have any actually any clue regarding the facts of the event? george.m
She should still have been able to count and see the colour of the flag that she was given. Bit of multi-tasking. Surely that's what women tell us they do and we can't!
falkirkbandit
Cracking win today. I've not made it to much speedway this season with working weekends, but i enjoyed that! I was glad to get on a train out of Glasgow again though. It's just mental with the Games on.
