george.m
Having joined BSF in 2007, I must have the 7 year itch. Either that, or I've decided its time I start contributing rather than trolling. So here goes my first attempt at starting a meeting thread, apologies in advance to Paulco who does such a good job of these weekly. An important meeting for both sides and I'm sure the sheep molesters will have this as a potential win. Another 3 point home win will see us further cement our current position at the top of the PL wooden spoon league, our own 4TT with Plymouth, Sheffield and Rye House. I have absolutely no idea how the teams will line up, so at this stage I'll assume it's the usual suspects for ourselves and the farmers. Quite a few questions to be answered at this meeting .... For the Chosen Few: Which of Two Kevin Wolberts will turn up? Can Rusty secure the first Tiger's maximum of the season? Will Dimitri make his much desired comeback? If he does, will Le Wonderkid make a steady return, or will he take up where he left off - hanging off the bike, using every inch of track ... each lap? Nee Naw Thomsen, will he race Bandit or Tiger riders? Can he finish an Ashfield meeting without his weekly chin wag with medical staff? Will Kasper get into a first turn in first place? Maybe second or even third? Hopefully Christian makes his return and get himself some much needed match fitness. And finally, will our captain top this week's 11 points? For the Banditos: Steen Jensen, will he live up to his pre-season predicted 9 point average? Matty Wethers will no doubt turn in his usual professional Ashfield performance - just not too good please! Kevin Doolan - Can he hit double figures? Claus Vissing - We love you as a guest Claus, but not opposing us. Mr Entertainment at Ashfield. Liam Carr and Matej Kus - our reserves should have the beating of them. .... and finally... Him. Will Judas be in the team or will some BSF Banditos get their way and see him hung drawn and quartered after today's no show? The other key issues to be answered: Will we need a new safety fence fund with messrs Thomsen, Berge and Judas in the same meeting? Will the Glasgow promotion keep Judas away from Le Wonderkid before he can lead him astray? With Dimitri and Judas racing against each other, will it be ...... Jeux Sans Frontières And finally ...... On this thread, how long before the usual BSF Banditos start falling out with each other? Can the usual suspect post more than one sentence (starting with a capital letter) that isn't a ridiculous scoreline prediction? How long before he falls out with himself? Will we have a rain-off, or a sun-off? Edited July 21, 2014 by george.m

Weeyin
Well done George.m you and Paulco can share the job , your post made me laugh and is quite accurate... Paulco also makes me laugh with his posts .. Keep up the good work boys . Onto the meeting itself , think this will be a tough test for us as the bandits ride our track well and as George.m says it depends on which Kevin turns up ( was impressed with him on Sunday) and how Dimitri and Christian settle back into racing... Going to need all my fingers to watch through when Dimitri , David and Anders are racing , that could be scary

Paulco
George mate , i am not worthy . Superb preview . Though it gets harder to keep it up . This should be a belter of a meeting though , especially if the Bandits can overcome the Smugs in the cup before this .
screm
home win by 6 Dimitri Berge to be the match winner... Just Berwick`s luck that Berge returns for this one, as you say he could be Glasgow's match winner. Though it gets harder to keep it up . Aye your right there. Paulco
I think so too , though maybe we should move on from the " Judas " thing . We should have made Bellego our first signing after the 2011 season finished , but didn't . Berwick chanced their arm and got away with the prize . As for the row over who's asset he became , well once one of the Chuckle Brothers became the Imperial Wizard at BSPA Towers , then well we know the rest .

Glasgow may have missed out on Bellego as an asset but from what I`ve seen young Berge has something about him and could be easily as good as Bellego.
Halifaxtiger
Not as good ad Plymouth but still a decent meeting - what I saw of it, anyway. Anyone who says you can't pass at Ashfield hasn't been this season . Impressed with Lykke and Perry but Sheffield were disappointing. They should be better than that. Always good to catch up with Paulco and Lioness and on this occasion with Tigerite and the legend that is Sunglasses Dave.

Flippin heck HT I knew you had some talents but I didn't realise you could see into the future as well - what did we win by? (oh and what was the weather like and what outfit did I wear? hehe)

I blame it on the fact that I am getting sun stroke in Manchester.
crescent girl
From Berwick's e-Newsletter last night: There are several massive sporting evening taking place in Glasgow next Sunday (27th), with over 200,000 extra people expected to flood the city to watch the Commonwealth Games mens' and womens' marathons running through the city streets, several cycling medals being decided at the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome, wee Mo Farah running in his chosen event at Hampden Park, the rugby sevens taking place at Ibrox --- and, of course, your New Holland Bandits are racing at Ashfield! Quite seriously, the city will be jumping on Sunday, with road closures galore and traffic congestion where they remain open! The Tigers' meeting will start at 3pm and we suggest anyone and everyone heading to cheer on our boys leaves quite bit of extra time for their Sunday afternoon out in the Scottish sunshine.
