PHILIPRISING
NO Nicki Pedersen, Niels-Kristian Iversen or Kenneth Bjerre in the Danish team for their opener in Vastervik. Woz01
They want to ride in the Race-Off. Should have picked an even weaker side then. I think they will still breeze through to the final, Sweden look average.
moomin man 76
They still look too strong for the assembled opposition, irrespective of who has or has not been picked.
Daniel Smith
NO Nicki Pedersen, Niels-Kristian Iversen or Kenneth Bjerre in the Danish team for their opener in Vastervik. None of the youngsters like Michael Jepsen Jensen either. Wonder what the thinking is behind this selection... I think the highest scoring rider will join Iversen, MJJ & Pedersen in the race-off / final. I like what the Danes have done as they're not gonna be bottom of the table
Mark
Give the top guys a week off to have a holiday and then come back refreshed for the final. NIce if you have enough good riders to do it..
pirateandi
Is this right don't they have to name the squad b4 it all starts unless the big guns were named in it already ?
racers and royals
Is this right don't they have to name the squad b4 it all starts unless the big guns were named in it already ? One month before the teams must nominate minimum 5 riders max 10 riders.
spanner47
After the surprises on Saturday, the Danes aren't nailed on here. They were obviously giving their best riders a break, safe in the knowledge they'd beat GB in the race off, now they'll have to face a strong Aussie side, could it all go wrong? The Swedes have a habit of raising their game in these events, and the Danes don't look that strong to me, could be very interesting. pirateandi
Agreed I really think the swedes will progress there at home for one and riders like Ljung seem to raise there game as well as Jonasson so Sweden for me as Denmarks riders sometimes flatter to deceive !! Woz01
Denmark will win comfortably in my opinion.
pointsmeanplayoffs
Pretty sure the Danish team was picked with one eye on the race off under the assumption that GB and USA would be in it from the first semi. Â Now that AUS are in the race-off, and with only the winner going through to the final from the race-off, I'm certain the Danes will be sweating on the win tonight - they will not want a race-off versus the Aussies. Â Still think Denmark will win the whole thing mind!
williamfj
I would be very surprised if the Danes don't go straight through to the final, if they do need to go through the race off it should be interesting though!
mothorsen
Danes straight through, and if not they'll top the team in the race-off. Can't ever imagine a final without Denmark, and having money on them to win, I hope they'll finish on top.
g13webb
The Danes are that strong they could pick 3 or 4 teams and all of them to be competitive. It's amazing the production line of talent they have..... far exceeds any other country in the world,,,,,,,,
PHILIPRISING
HAVING watched last night's Sky TV meeting at Sheffield the Aussies must be running them close
mdmc82
HAVING watched last night's Sky TV meeting at Sheffield the Aussies must be running them close Don't agree. Yes there are a lot of Aussie riders but they would struggle against big names. Last nights Aussies looked ok against PL riders. When I watched Morris few years ago with bees he looked like he had a lot of potential but still too hit & miss. Â Danes young riders handle the pressure and can hold their own against anybody. Australia have the same few riders who they use in World Cup as many not near that standard.
Crazy robin
Think Killer is taking himself out of the final Danish line up as he continues to try & anticipate the start now. Â Nicki, Kenny, NKI & Jesper Jensen seem nailed on with Hans or Mads as reserve for the final. Â Either that or Mickel Bech will come in. Â How does that Polish clown of a ref keep getting these big meetings!!!! Edited July 29, 2014 by Crazy robin
Bagpuss
Going by what the Danish TM said last week it'll be four from six with none of the younger riders getting a look in this year.....personally I'd have gone with MJJ to join Puk & Nicki plus probably Kildemand from tonight. But I think it'll be Mads and Killer joining the big two for the final.

Mads and Kildermand had more pace and would be more suited to Bydgoszcz as a throttle ringing race track.
