Agrotron
Is Zagar still bringing only one bike along, as he should of been in 15 not MPT was his bike terminal after he stalled on the line? Silver Cheetah Snr
Is Zagar still bringing only one bike along, as he should of been in 15 not MPT was his bike terminal after he stalled on the line? Zagar never rides in heat 15 unless there is something riding on it.
lucifer sam
If MJJ scores less than 7 paid points tonight, I won't post in the Elite League section until August the 18th. That's how confident I am of MJJ's ability. He scored six. All the best Rob
robert72
Is Zagar still bringing only one bike along, as he should of been in 15 not MPT was his bike terminal after he stalled on the line? looked liked his primary chain broke as he dropped the clutch, not sure why he was excluded. Also if he only has one bike in England then something needs to be said to him.
Rob B
Is Zagar still bringing only one bike along, as he should of been in 15 not MPT was his bike terminal after he stalled on the line? He had 2 bikes, that one was terminal, completely seized up. He was never going to get his 2nd bike ready for a meaningless heat 15.

SCB
Dodgy exclusion in 13. At the time of touching the tapes Zagar was under power! Nice one ref, cheating us of the chance to see Zagar off 15 - ok probably weeing into the wind but watching Zagar ride 4 laps is always a joy. Phil The Ace
Firstly let's start on last night, I'm really Pissed off TBH and for me this was the worst away result of the season even taking lakeside away and eastie away into count. Last night should have been at least a point if not a win againt a track we usually ride well on. Have track specialist and them missing Garrity. If Garrity was there they would have easily hit 60. Zagar scored ok as did toft and nielsen, the biggest let down was scott but he will have them type of meetings. Worrall was woeful worst rider on show. U expect Payne score but not worrall. Something is not right with him. Doesn't look happy in pits to me. Think we need to stick with him and try and boost his confidence as at the mo it is shot to bits. The track was terrible and after visiting all tracks in last few years a number of times ours is by far the most consistent track out there and for me should get track of the year. Now onto why we can't do it away from home. I've tried racking my brains around it and I think I have come up with an explanation for it. Not its not jason fault but it's most likely a confidence thing. They have lost the match before getting to tapes up. Having a these away matches in quick succession has been our biggest problem. We really could have done with a 2-3 week break from away matches to get out of the habit of loosing away. But instead the away fixtures keep coming thick and fast. If we had the 3 week break and won say 3-4 home matches on the bounce we could have took that confidence away it would not surprise me 1 bit if we win all our remaining away matches with maximum points. Get to lakeside on the winning streak and probably win. Play offs are out of reach now though so as rob states earlier it's just going to be a damp squib to end of season. No big crowds with pointless meeting one after the other. I really do feel for the management. They are absolutely gutted and shocked at our away form. They did all they could by putting this incredible side together and at the end of they day they have shelled out tonnes of wages again for nothing. Obviously very disheartening for the management as well as fans. And if we start voting with our feet then I fear the management may give up. Next season is massive for us

There are numerous of possible reasons/explanations for the lack of away points - I'm personally not convinced it can be put down to 1 single thing, but the fixture list was very poor. It really hasn't done the club any favours at all. As for Richie, he's had a tough season. I believe he changed engine tuners over the winter (to help get him going in Poland?), blew a new engine at the start of the season, and just hasn't looked that quick all season really. He's had his moments, like the rest of the side has, but like the others the consistency just hasn't been there. Consistently inconsistent all season. That's all you can say about that side. They've all had good meetings, all had bad ones, but there's always seemed to be an off-night for 1 or 2 riders at any given away meeting. Oh, and Phil, I think you can change your signature now! Sorry but can you clarify what incredible side you are talking about? I would say that you have a strong number 1 in Zagar but that's where the incredible ends. Craig Cook seems to be doing it for Edinburgh in the PL but hasn't risen consistently well at the higher EL level (his time will come), Richie Worrall will come good with perseverance, Scott Nicholls is past his sell-by date and Palm Toft was all that was left at the start of the season. So I would say hardly an incredible team - like most teams in the league this year bar maybe 2 or 3 teams.

Before a wheel was turned most people on here predicted Belle Vue to finish in a play off spot, so from our point of view we had a great team, our away form has been a total disaster and the only reason why we wont finish in a top 4 place. You must have incredible hindsight, we don't.

It didn't matter where we were in the league, the enjoyment was watching our favourites racing, and the stars from the opposing teams. We wouldn't have thought of not attending if we didn't have a chance of winning the league. And this never ever changed, until a career move took me away from the area some 30 years later! TheSmiler
A good result for us especially missing Garrity. Got to keep it up at home, not sure Howarth is of much use to us, he seems either unavailable or injured, not sure if thats just me though. Change maybe...???? Much better season this year , need to keep it going. Well Done..!!!! I agree, think we could stick with Summers.
New Science
Amazed to see so many regular posters on here, posting during the meeting, so presumably not at Brandon, complaining about the track. Any track will have problems in keeping the moisture in the surface when the temperature has been so hot during the day, and the track team worked hard to maintain the best possible surface under the circumstances, It was not a bad match at all, yes Belle Vue needed more support for Zager and Nicholls, and there seemed to be long gaps which the referee should have banged on the 2 minutes much sooner, but all credit to both teams for giving it their all. The crowd for the first Friday after the schools closed for the summer holidays was not too bad, so stop the damn moaning and support the team, everyone seems to me to be doing their very best to provide a good evenings entertainment for us so called FANS. Think we all have sympathy for track curators when they have to deal with inclement weather, but if a track curator worth his salt cannot prepare a good race track for an evening meeting with the sun out all day then its time to wrap up ! Not many teams with our poor record over the last 20 years would still be drawing decent crowds (by current standards).
