All depends on which Cookie turns up the 2 point elite league rider or the 13 point british final rider.

In fairness to Cookie, the race format will make it much more difficult to score 13pts for the Aces than it was at the British Final. Factor in home track knowledge and I'd be happy for an eight point tally from him tonight.

What a bad night for Tai...Only 4pts

I daren't put what I'm thinking on a family forum. Mickey is being taken and the clowns who are supposed to be in charge are doing nothing. At this rate the World Champ will have a sub 7 point average and people are saying PK's on the slide :o

How can he nearly win a gp then two days later be so terrible

A about give he couldn't Wolves toss.

I just had the feeling with Tai that after winning the world title he felt compelled to ride in the EL to promote the sport as world champion, if he hadnt won the title i had the feeling he would have followed Holder and given the UK a miss, probably understandable when you look at the schedules of todays top riders. With Woffinden only scoring 4 points we really should have taken all the points but again Worrall and Cook were disappointing.

HAVING to fit a Polish match in between probably didn't help ... must be knackered after such a tiring and emotional night at the Millennium

No Philip, just no. No more excuses. How's about using your resources to see who was the last World Champ to drop his British league average by what he has in his championship year? Maybe because the result won't support the 'isn't having a British World Champion wonderful' narrative.

How long has he been under performing for Wolves now? The numbers don't lie.

If he wants to concentrate on the SGPs then good luck to the bloke, no problem with that. But as long as he rides for Wolves we're entitled to expect maximum effort, we aren't getting it.

It's a well used phrase in team sport, no one is bigger than the club and that includes Woffinden.

Mark Loram went from 10.5 to 8.5 in his WC year at Peterborough.
