CONTRACTS not signed as yet but that will be the date...

found on Yahoo speedway group :

"The inaugural round of the Grand Prix 2015 will be held in April at the National Stadium in Warsaw. Information on the organisation of the competition has been revealed in an interview with „ Tygodnik Zuzlowy” ( Speedway Weekly) by the president of the Polish Automobile Association (PZMot) Mr. Andrzej Witkowski.

The first round of the 2015 cycle is to be held on April 25th. The organiser of the competition for Individual Speedway World Championship at Poland's National Stadium in Warsaw will be the PZMot, and the agreement with the BSI, promoters of the cycle, will apply for the next three years. The Warsaw round of the Grand Prix wild card will go to Tomasz Gollob.

The press conference, which will present all the details of the planned event, is to be held on November 13th at the National Stadium and will be attended, among others, by Tomasz Gollob. "

BSI won't say anything publicly until a) the contract is signed and sealed and B) the FIM have officially been informed of the complete calendar ... around the middle of November.

But my information is that it will be the 18th. Will have to wait and see ...

Been told a minute a go that today is the day that FIM signs all calendars for 2015.

Grapevine, aah. Must have some of that whenI get home!

FIM Europe calendar as well :)

Good thing I've stuck to beer then...

What are your odds then to have no calendar changes for 2015?

EDIT: meaning after this weekend. I'm not saying anything, lost all my money on my account months ago.

  • 2 weeks later...

Just got the confirmation that the calendar will be published at the beginning of next week, allocations will then be send to the federations as well. The CCP are finalizing the last details this weekend at their meeting.

In the mean time FIM Europe published their provisional calendar already on their website.
