Arson fire
Even with Kus riding it wouldn't make much difference he rides like a NL rider round the dale anyway. I'd fancy my chances against against fox and Deek at the mo though

cyclone
Looks like we have things cleared up.  http://www.berwickbandits.co/  I don't know much about Greaves, but Matej is in fine form.  Doesn't look that there was anything that could be done  Yes there was something else the Berwick Promotion could have done, namely have the courtesy to inform their patrons at the meeting tonight, rather than restrict it to an online announcement after the match.  Dick Barrie had plenty to say on the centre green, but must have had temporary amnesia about Kus's absence on Friday.  Anyone else heard this? Apparently Cook has put on a few pounds, which is effecting his recent form?  No, but Craig did appear unwell when appearing on the parade truck at the start.
screm
Excellent result for Berwick, will it be enough for the 2nd leg, no probably not but with the kind of form Edinburgh have been in this season any victory over them is a good one. Â I`m surprised people are surprised over Kus, he was never going to be at Edinburgh on Friday. As soon as these dates were arranged Berwick and Edinburgh for that matter would've known there was a fixture clash and that the one in Czech would take priority, its not like Kus turned up at Shielfield last night and announced for the first time he couldn't make it on Friday. Berwick have known for a while they would be Kusless on Friday and should've announced it before last night. Â Â Â Dick Barrie had plenty to say on the centre green, but must have had temporary amnesia about Kus's absence on Friday. Â Â Â Â Mr Barrie always has plenty to say, I will leave for others to decide if any of it is worth listening to.
Fromafar
The Kus situation is typical of British Speedway. It never anybodies fault it just happens.JOKE. Yes there was something else the Berwick Promotion could have done, namely have the courtesy to inform their patrons at the meeting tonight, rather than restrict it to an online announcement after the match. Â Dick Barrie had plenty to say on the centre green, but must have had temporary amnesia about Kus's absence on Friday. Â Â Â No, but Craig did appear unwell when appearing on the parade truck at the start. There must have been the usual embargo till the OFFICIAL news was released. You couldn't make it up'!!! Edinburgh 's I was confident before I heard Kus was due to be missing, if this is true, with Nathan Greaves guesting, then I don't even think the tie will be close. (No disrespect to Nathan Greaves, or any Berwick rider intended) Cheers, you may be right take a bit of gloss of the match.
Arson fire
Are clubs told when to ride these ko fixtures?? Â If not, surely berwick knew he was unavailable before commiting to the date??

Of course they did.Fans don't count in Speedway you have just to keep turning up,there will be a match between 14 riders.
DSC67
The fact the Matej is not ridding tomorrow night at Armadale is fairly irrelevant IMHO , given Berwick previous visits that points gap was unlikely to be enough anyways ,but saying that I agree that the fans should have been made aware of situation before last nights meeting , as along as he's back on the bike for the Bandits on Saturday & Sunday is all that I'm concerned about

Or alternatively, perhaps THEY wanted to be the ones who officially announced it and not have it appear on the Edinburgh website first as other clubs info has
YAMYAMBANDIT
Well done to the Bandits on winning tonight. Some celebrations after heat 15, Kevin Doolan clearly thinks the tie is over. Any truth that Matej Kus is not riding on Friday, as he is riding in a Czech League Match? Poor show if true, rumours have Nathan Greaves as his replacement . Don't think it can be true though, as it was not mentioned at Berwick tonight. Don't understand, 'poor show if true', we have known for a few weeks that due to these meetings being rearranged, Matej Kus had a previously agreed commitment in the CZ, as a result would not be available for that date, same problem for Josef Franc at Plymouth

A few who know him told me once he gets his confidence back he'll be good.  How true was that. He rode some very hard 1st and 2nd bends last night, and one very brave 3rd bend. Once out in front he was exceptionally stylish and won a few races by a long shot.  He also rode very clever 2nd bends in a couple of heats to make space for his team-mate.  How I love being proved wrong in this manner!
