2ndbendbeerhut
Still no change in the weather, looks like it r/r for Newman and Taylor Poole for Jensen.
Bash
I think you have that round the wrong way it's R/R for Rasmus Jensen and Taylor Poole guesting for Kyle Newman.
Roland
No change in the weather.......looking at the Met Office rainfall radar, if we escape between now and ten tonight it will be a miracle. Having said that, better outlook tomorrow in Somerset. 20 point win tonight if it gets underway, podium position in pairs tomorrow? Over and out Edited July 10, 2014 by Roland
Bash
Don't think we'll get a podium position tomorrow. Our group is by far the toughest with the other group missing Craig Cook & Ben Barker from their pairs.
diamondsnat
Witches site says Newman definitely out through injury but he's riding tonight at Poole...... Kyle is riding at Swindon tonight as Poole are riding there tonight x
Baldyman
There are a couple of other poor pairings, but it's not a track we go very well at normally. I would have thought we will be at the lower end of the scoreboard.
CardinalSin
Risager normally doesn't go well there, but didn't he have a good meeting there last time out? Both Risager and Tungate are frustrating, can be either very good or very bad.
Baldyman
Morten scored 12 last visit and rohan
2ndbendbeerhut
Spitting with rain in town centre but looks like the worst of the rain should miss Foxhall...... [famous last words]
dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
Shocking attendance tonight - Id say its the lowest I have ever seen for a competitive meeting at Foxhall.
TheScotsman
At least they saw a decent number 1 in action.
Baldyman
Shocking attendance tonight - Id say its the lowest I have ever seen for a competitive meeting at Foxhall.Me to. How many would you estimate? 400?
spanner47
Those that stayed away because of the weather ( or was it because of the weak opposition? ) certainly missed a good un. Plenty of decent racing and all over in very quick time. All over so quickly the majority of the crowd stayed behind to watch some of the junior heats. Super Blue
Any how may season ticket holders do we have at Foxhall . Does anyone know ? I can't imagine there were that many paying public actually came through the gate .
dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
Agree Baldyman - about 400. A bit of a worry even for a night where the weather was dodgy. Decent racing in general so those that stayed away did miss a good one.
spanner47
When I ask locals why they only go now and again It's usually, "only if It's warm and sunny" or "why bother when It's on the telly", FOUR meetings on the telly this week, why fork out £16 on a windy damp Evening when you can get your Speedway fix in your living room. I also think the BSPA are getting very close to driving the final nail in the coffin, they've been trying for years, but this year has been the worst for us fans. He's your rider this week, he's our rider next week is the worst one they've ever come up with, and fans at many tracks have had enough, It's all been done in an attempt to keep the EL alive, but it's obviously failing as Brum have gone and Eastie are going. They've got it horribly wrong this season, and in their attempt to save the EL they're affecting the PL with their crazy rules. Fans accept guests as a necessary evil when riders are injured, but not when a rider is just saving another club some money. Baldyman
So they watch speedway on telly? So basically they are not Ipswich fans, more speedway fans in general, cos Ipswich are not on telly. Because I don't get speedway on telly is this the reason I go every week and to my fair share of away meetings, I wonder. I'm not going to get sky just to find out. On another note, it's such a shame to see Roynon racing when he is obviously not fit enough, I guess he is only trying to earn some money to pay his bills. Yes I know it was his first meeting back from yet another injury, but what a talent he once was, let's hope he can stay injury free for a long time. spanner47
I'm an Ipswich fan and a speedway fan. When we were EL I'd go to kings Lynn to watch certain decent PL teams, since they went EL and we went PL I've never been, as I can watch those riders on the box. Baldyman
Me too, I sometimes go to Lynn and Coventry and lakeside and Eastbourne if I think there is going to be a good match.
