cityrebel
I'm not a fan of 'Len silver speedway', far from it, but I do believe that without Len, there would be no speedway at Central Park. Us fans in the south east now have a fine stadium with a slowly improving track to watch speedway in. After losing the IOW last season it would be a disaster to lose another track within our barren area. I will continue the mad rush from South London to kent kings on monday nights, because believe it or not, I enjoy going there!
DragonsDen
You must be very easily pleased cityrebel if you enjoy the 1970’s trash of a presentation the Len puts on, especially at Rye House.  The only reason Len is Co-Promoter is because of the rules and regulations when a new venue is opened – He could have just sat there quietly holding Rogers hand but he decided to undo all the good things happening at this new venue.  The club was forward thinking and trying to drag the sport into the modern times but Len has taken them backwards just like Rye.  Enjoy it whilst you can because I fear for the future with Len at the helm.

Perhaps you would like to bring a bloke in like they did at Birmingham who can shut the place down in half a seasonExactly how were they forward thinking and dragging speedway into modern times? I'm not a Silver lover but without him there would be no speedway in Kent and Hertfordshire that is for certain Silver gets things wrong as do others but at least he pays his riders on time
cityrebel
I am easily pleased when it comes to new tracks opening in the south east. It's been thirty years since the last one! I don't for one minute think that Len is just a figurehead at Central Park, without his money I don't think it would have happened. They do pretty well to squeeze the whole show into a two hour period, especially with the amount of spills at NL level. Sure, the track is not perfect but the facilities are good and it's nice to sit in a decent grandstand after a hard days work!

Do people really think Mr Silver has put money into Kent Kings !!!! Â The Kent Kings are owned by Mr Roger Cearns and his company. Â The Kent Kings are owned by Mr Roger Cearns and his company. Â He pays the bills, not Mr Silver. if he hasn't put any money into kent, why has roger cearns sat back and watched Len ride shotgun over everybody that doesn't fit in with his way of thinking. It seems to be a very strange way to run a business!

Blackbird
nikko tells us he walked away from the club because he didnt like the links with rye house. Fair enough but considering that for example we have the club I follow Mildenhall with there close links to Ispwich and noones unhappy about that what exactly is the actual reason he and others walked out of Kent? Kent Whistle Gang
Well done everyone, yet again you've managed to usurp a thread that should have been about the team and it's performance, and bastardised it into an attack on the management and promotion. Maybe Len Silver bashing deserves a thread of it's own now. Certainly there's enough of you doing it these days to make it work.
