Mimmo
Can someone in the vicinity of West Row please advise what weather conditions are like please? It seems to be raining heavily in a lot of areas fairly close by, so wondered at this early stage, what the likelihood of the Mildenhall v Kent meeting taking place this afternoon. Thank You. Guest
No preview of the Mildenhall v Kent Kings match on the club's website although it is a listed fixture. On the BSPA/SGB site it says this: "In the National Trophy, Mildenhall face Kent at West Row with the return at Central Park on Monday – and Fen Tigers chairman Kevin Jolly believes both home and away wins may be required by his side to reach the Final. "Jolly said: “After our KO Cup exit to Cradley the Trophy and of course the League have now taken on even more importance to the club. We certainly will not be taking Kent lightly for in Simon Lambert and Ben Morley they have a fine top two, both who ride our track extremely well.“Nothing but three points on Sunday will do and we will be talking to the lads before the meeting to ensure they fully understand the importance of this weekend.” Edited July 6, 2014 by Guest
Old Crusader
Seems like a toss up between the weather or Mildehall winning today. Let's hope it's on and Kent at full strength surprise us with a win. Will only happen if Simon & Ben M are on top form.To be fair Benji is just back from injury. Who's covering for Aaron today? blueherb777
Yet another thrashing (like last night) for the hapless Kings. What is up with Morley ? 6 points last night and 5 today ??? Harris comes in and scores 6 ducks. OUT of the KOC ! OUT of the Trophy ( 0 points so far). And will finish 5th or 6th in the League. WILL MR SILVER AND MR SAMPFORD PLEASE CLOSE THE DOOR ON THE WAY OUT. Edited July 6, 2014 by AJ is King
westhamboy66
Excellent riding from Simon Lambert. Benji Compton gave it his all. Other than that hapless Kent were an embarrassment.
whistlegang
Mason withdrawn through illness. Can we use a guest tomorrow night assuming he will be absent, or can we only operate r/r for him unless one of Lambert and Morley are unavailable? Anybody know if they are our riders tomorrow? (weather looks ideal btw) if we can use a guest get Marc Owen in on 6.something (sign him up). Apart from Lambert (when he is available), we truly have nothing on the road until Compton settles back in. The situation with Morley is really baffling. He is doing so well for Lakeside but seems out of form for us. He beat Jacobs twice the other night at Lakeside... I see that Ayres has dealt with Kirby and also beat Kingston tonight. We will need Ayres to bring his form tomorrow as i predict a busy not for him! Excellent riding from Simon Lambert. Benji Compton gave it his all. Other than that hapless Kent were an embarrassment. it won't be long before he slips on the number 1 jacket again at this rate! adz_mft
Good, solid team performance from the lads today.Looked really up for it.Was pretty much impossible to keep the dust down today.Dried out pretty quick.Few races were gate and go with some others being closely run.Jacobs pass on Lambert to get the win on theline was superb,as was Lamberts brilliant heat15 ride. For Mildenhall Halsey-You know what you are going to get with Dan.Always reliable.Unfortunate to have an ef of the last bend in heat 15 Coles-Was unlucky not to score more.Brilliant win over Compton when he was on a TR Jacobs-Pretty much faultless Johnson-Improving with every meeting around West Row.Very sharp from the gate and really wanted to win those 1st bends Bates-Great to see Josh looking so good.Super quick Kingston-Probably the smoothest I've seen Jack ride.Looked really good.Cracking 2nd to pass Morley Mountain-Battled for his points.A tapes exclusion and on the rough end of a tight 1st bend. For Kent Morley-Expected more.Probably his worst performance around the track that I've seen Mason-Couldn't hear why he withdrew but it must have been a non speedway related withdrawal as they couldn't replace him Compton-somehow managed to score what he did.Never really looked like passing when behind.Disappointing Lambert-Typical performance around the track.Superb in ht15 Harris-unfortunately out classed Ayres-great 1st ride in a decent time.Nothing after that Well done lads Mason withdrawn through illness. Don't think you can use a guest unless you have 2 of your top 5 missing.
