Shale Searcher
A good combination would be someone with a sound knowledge of the rulebook and a motivator, man manager and a No 2, perhaps an ex rider with "SPEEDWAY" running through his veins..... freddyfivetoes
I agree it's not a must, and you are right, I just see an advantage for the team if you have that knowledge. It must be said like the rules the theory on set ups can be learnt. Imagine, if you had someone who knows the rulebook, set ups and is able to prepare a track aswell, WOW!what a manager.  Lots of rain over night, should be good for the track by tonight, that is unless with the forecast being so accurate some silly b*gger toolk Billy out last night.[/quote   Unless Billy the Bowser was taken out to do tyre-packing, not watering!  But those who know all there is to know about track preparation will know that, won't they? It was the anti speedway group from shielfield Terrace kicking off, sent in the riot police. Â We had a ban the Burka demonstration by the Scottish Defence league. It really is a big problem in Berwick, there are so many burka wearing people here, we can no longer cope with it.

Tsunami
I always had Berwick down as a hotbed of international terrorism Of course. Can you not remember that famous case years ago when Makovski was stopped on a motorway by riot police, after a fellow traveller reported seeing a rifle sticking up in his van. Damned handlebars killed the story.

DSC67
Good to pick up a win after last weeks debacle , even if it wasn't the greatest of meetings with most races more or less decided after lap 1 , however Claus did produce an excellent ride in ht 13 to keep Ben Barker behind him . I am slightly confused about the managements reluctance to use Matej Kus in hts 11 & 14 this may have backfired on us and let Plymouth escape with a point , tonight we got away with it the next time we might not be so lucky , anyways hopefully that should fill the lads with some confidence as they head to Redcar on Thursday night

Bandits4eva
I agree Robin... Claus is a MUST! Has been a revelation for us! Â Good win tonight... Next home meeting is the cup against Edinburgh... Surely Matej may be used a bit more in those matches?
