Paulco
Looks like I missed another cracker..who'd think having kids would mean no speedway (dont know how to do sad faces). Didn't quite reach the entertainment value of the Plymouth meeting the week before , but it was still a pretty good match . Obviously it's never nice to lose to the Monarchs , especially at home , but they are a solid outfit and there was still reason to be proud of the Tigers' performance in the meeting . Sooner we get back to full strength the better though .
markw40
Was a strange match for us. Sort of come away feeling positive that we are improving but that we missed an opportunity there. Thought it was a really strange move to put Anders at number 2. He isn't renowned for his gating so to have him out in heat 1 when conditions wouldn't be good for passing was a bit strange. also took the first RR in heat 3. Points we can't afford to give away to a very good Monarchs side
Mr Blobby
One negative about Sunday was the sound system on the 4th bend is it really that bad? it's loud but you can't make out a word the guy on the centre green is saying. Might not be a bad thing though as from previous visits he does talk a lot of p!sh. But when the guy is announcing the results you can hear him a lot better still quite difficult to hear mind you but not as bad. apart from heat 15 when instead of announcing the result he blabbed on about how Craig Cook was the British number 2 and so on no idea what that was all about. george.m
Was Craig Cook doing a bit of average reducing yesterday?
tyretrax
Time to get Steve Lawson up to Glasgow for gating and clutch set up tips. If Steve can't come up he's got his own track to practice on. Edited July 7, 2014 by tyretrax

Paulco
Jealous the lot of use! Aye we are . You are annoyingly good most seasons , while we are .................well just not as annoyingly good mostly . Still i think we closed the gap a bit yesterday , and if we are at full strength whenever the next league match at Ashfield is , then you never know
Cj69
Nice wee fact was mentioned. Fricke has raced against Glasgow with Edinburgh 13 times and won every one. Downside is he only started last season and already faced them 13 times and season not over yet

Still 2 more league meetings at Armadale and one at Ashfield to go . If you get past Berwick and we somehow overcome Newcastle , then that will be another two meetings in the KO Cup , and they can go to replays . So can we quietly shuffle the Scottish Cup into cold storage this season ?

Cj69
Would like to see the Spring Trophy dropped and replaced with Scottish Cup for the start of season meetings. Recent years Scottish Cup has been pathetic with both teams made up of guests.
