spin king
Eddie or Edward as he likes to be called has never been prolific or comfortable around Sheffield, even when he has been on form. I think that we saw last night a rider who is still trying to get his confidence back.
montie
Stefan Nielsen showing us just why he's out injured so often with a crazy dive inside Josh Bates which could've been very nasty. Interesting to hear that Shadders,as a rookie when with the Saints he was always really calm,as in when speaking to him in person but seems to get a red mist every now and then and a few have mentioned it I hope he can learn to stay on bike because hes is a tidy little rider on his day
Shadders
Tigers fully deserved the points and I always felt they were in control, shame about Poole staying down and imo only a matter of time before referee's start fining riders who deliberatly do this. Glasgows Theo Pijper fined £100 a couple of weeks ago for doing just that
Odds On
so did Poole receive a fine last night?....
The Third Man
so did Poole receive a fine last night?.... deserved one, I thought the ref could award the heat in those circumstances, or is that just wishful thinking on my part
Stan Duppcomic
Classic Football referee solution to having given a dodgy decision:- give a dodgy one the other way. Excluding Lanham gifted Rye a 5-1.

Stan Duppcomic
Equally dodgy, but then the super guest more than made up for it.
Tigerite
Very similar situation last week when Stead rode Steen Jensen hard into the first bend. Jensen fell and excluded.Bad refereeing on both accounts, although the heat 1 all 4 back decision at Rye House v Sheffield meeting when Kennett missed the gate and slid off with no one near him will take some beating for most shocking decision this season. Bostonian
Really enjoyed my visit to owlerton last night. Having moved closer to Sheffield, think I will be visiting more regularly! The facilities and track is fantastic, certainly an entertaining meeting. Some good races with plenty of action and close racing. Ty Proctor has such an exciting style when he's in the dirt and screaming round the boards. Good to see Poole in the points, and stead looked a class act again. For the rockets, Kennett was poor, the young French man (can't remember his name) was their best rider. Enjoyed seeing Garrity ride, not the most gifted but can tell he loves riding a bike and nice to see his passion after a 5-1. I'd say the crowd was around 450-500.. Unsure if that's a healthy crowd or not. All In all an enjoyable night, look forward to the next visit!
Japser
Sad to see Andre struggling. He seems to have got new equipment and I'm sure he's as good as he always was. Just needs to get the setup right in my view.

Halifordukesfan
Does anyone actually know what crowds we get? Easy enough to count between a race or two.
