Mark Lemon Joins Redcar

Recommended Posts

I think we have actually once he learns to stay on

Listen as far as I'm concerned the pl should be Brit only but it isn't so you do what you have to do

What is the sense in flying people in from all over Europe to appear in front of 700 fans

I wonder how meany teams you could get together in the PL using just British riders

13.

Trouble is they would be filled with NL, MDL & NJL riders at the bottom end.

A lot of them would benefit and perhaps some of them would turn into decent riders, one thing for sure they would be there each week.It is the way forward for British Speedway.

No different to the Football premier League, can you imagine no foreign players, what a state it would be in.

We have the Elite league for the top Foriegners

it would probably have to include all the speedway pensioners, get Rob Grant snr back on a speedway bike. That would certainly improve the entertainment, at the same time show Pederson how it's done properly.

But he wouldn't be up against him, as he aint a Brtit.

Quite a few of the 'top foriegners' (current GP) don't even ride in the EL.

Exactly because we won't pay them enough and the ones that are here are bankrupting the smaller El Clubs.the early days of NL in the 70's produce talent and meetings were of good standard which what we need to get back too IMO.Fans are not supporting their TEAM nowadays just 7 riders who turn up for the meeting.Think it is easy to give speedway a miss nowadays for a lot of fans.

Clubs in trouble, Birmingham being run by the BSPA, now Eastbourne in trouble, and rumours about Peterborough

but what about Mark Lemon ???,,, surely this stuff is'nt all his fault,,, :-(

It's not the riders fault, he wants to ride and earn money, it's the promoters choice....... Stick with an inexperienced young, British lad, or a poor Polish rider, easy.... Get rid of the Brit Kid, keep the Pole, and bring in an old Aussie... Don't worry about the future of British Speedway..... That's what the Elite League is for......!
