Diamonds V Scorpions 29/6/14

Exactly the same with young Fox - he just couldn't let him win to help his confidence.

I think Lindgren needs his confidence boosting rather than an opposition rider taking a guest booking. Nothing against young Fox, he rode well and I would have him as a Diamond next season quite happily, but this season, we're going to need Lindgren firing on all cylinders if we are to make the playoffs and cup final, both of which are still within reach. If the way Ludo needs to regain confidence is by taking the chequered flag then be happy he's back in the form where he can.

Strangely entertaining meeting for a 67-22 scoreline. Plenty of passing.

Expecting Montie on shortly to tell us how bad the track was.

I thought the Track was OK. A bit heavy maybe because of the Weather which slowed the times a bit.

Ruffdiamond. Robbo Team Rides - he is always looking out for his Partner. That is why the Robson/Kerr Partnership is the best one we have.

Robbo was brilliant last night, getting out of the gate at times as well, all the team were good last night,,, but me, I did'nt see much team riding, IMO,,,

as for track being heavy, that might have something to do with the amount of dirt that was put on yesterday, (oops, was that a secret), while you were enjoying the rain/drizzle over the water :-)

arr sorry,,, I thought you were referring to the track,,, that's 'double dumps' then ;-)

If it hadn't been for George - you probably wouldn't have your Lindgren to support. :o;):) :)

Tweet from Tommy The Gun:

Update on wrist: Nothing broken. Just badly brushed and ligaments are stretched. A few days off and I'll be good to go

All the best

Rob

Good to hear.

Looks like a decent Rider. Certainly the best Rider Scunthorpe had on display.

What on earth has happened to Nikolai Klindt? He was really dreadful for a Number One.

He was just as bad (perhaps even worse) on Friday night.

Great team effort by the Diamonds last night. I'm still trying to work out if we were really, really good, or if the Scorpions were really, really bad. A bit of both I expect.
