Penny Cross
I hope Barker has his racing head on today. On Friday all he was interested in was having a go at Summers. Tiggers to win, but Devils to get away point.
Lioness
bringing nine devils with me. They might just be able to keep you under control. So you have ten devils and Paulco to cope with Under control? Me? Never anything but! I hope Barker has his racing head on today. On Friday all he was interested in was having a go at Summers. Tiggers to win, but Devils to get away point. I know a lot of people dont like Barker but for me he, like Fisher when his brain is engaged, is pure entertainment. Really looking forward to watching him again this afternoon although if he could arrange to run out of fuel on the penultimate bend of each race that would be the best of both world for me lol. None of our riders are the type you would want to have a go at, we are the nice guys (which might explain why we are struggling.....!) Gazc
Well that was by far & away the best speedway meeting at Ashfield for a long time credit must go to both teams for serving up an absolute cracker , just shows if the track is prepared the way the riders request it then that is what Ashfield is capable off producing. For Glasgow all had there moments but we really need to have a full team with that today and without Anders withdrawing (again) then i am sure we would have taken all three point's albeit that would have been harsh on Plymouth who deserved something for there efforts For the Devils same as Glasgow really all had there moments except Benko Heat 13 in particular was the best heat off speedway i have seen in a good few years well done to the 12 rider's on show today for serving up an absolute corker.

Gazc
Good to see Max banging in a big score same again next week please! Rode well and intelligently Rusty did make it easier for him in Heat 4 sliding off on his own to give him the win in the rerun but overall he looked the part scored more than Jensen probably would have but who knows, with a bit off luck we will have at least a 6 man team next week to try and stop the Monarch juggernaut these 5 man team's are not the way to go . Weeyin
great meeting, Devils had an inspirational guest in Max Fricke, doubt very much if Jensen would have scored that much, but overall they deserved a point, man of the match for the Tigers was Kasper Lykke, what a racer he is , never gives up and looked really fast, only thing is , he is such a bad gater he has 15 metres to catch up in every race.. If he could gate he would be scoring double figures every week

Popular Post Paulco
Awesome isn't a word you normally associate with a speedway meeting in this country , but that's what we witnessed today . Everything that is still good about our sport was on show at Ashfield today . Two evenly matched teams , a superbly prepared track and more overtaking than you could wish for in a GP , it was all there and more . Quite simply the best £16 i've spent in ages , if only we could get the people through the door to see what a great product speedway like this can be . The 6 riders on each side gave us the most entertainment you could possibly wish to see . Ok we might have scraped home 46-44 , but as i said to the Plymouth fans around me , you didn't really care who came out on top , both teams were absolutely superb . And i was actually glad Plymouth got a closing 5-1 because they deserved at least a point out of today's meeting . 12 gladiators slugging it out in the sunshine will do it for me everytime . We all get fed up with our team's being crap and the rules pissing us off and tracks being dodgy , but when you get what we got today , it restores your faith in the sport . Thank you the riders from Glasgow and Plymouth for making an old cynic very happy this afternoon .
