Glasgow Tigers V Plymouth Devils Pl Sun 29th June 2014 @3pm

Recommended Posts

Going for our third home win in a row tomorrow , and with " you know who " smugging into town next week , that will be as good a run as it will get probably .

Plymouth are down there , along with Rye House and Sheffield , with us in our own wee diddy team league , so tomorrow is a huge meeting .

The Devils are led by a man who commanded huge sympathy among the Tigers faithful last season , restoring his credibility after his season with pink hair when at Stoke . So welcome Ben Barker

Ex Smug Kalle Katastrophe is also in their ranks , along with a load of riders i've never heard off.

Wee have Todd Kurtz in for Dimitri and still using r/r for Christian .

Bumper crowd expected for this one , but there will be a cash turnstile for ticketless fans .

Assuming there's nothing more important on elsewhere , tomorrow's teams should be -

Glasgow

1 Kevin Wolbert

2 r/r for Christian Henry

3 Anders Thomsen

4 Theo Pijper

5 Rusty Harrison

6 Kasper Lykke

7 Todd Kurtz (g)

8 Ryan McDonald

Plymouth

1 Ben Barker

2 r/r for Adam Roynon

3 Kalle Katajisto

4 Kyle Newman

5 The Golden Child (g)

6 Roland Benko

7 Zdenek Simota

Confident of a 10-14 point Tigers win to secure all three points .

According to Plymouth website, Max Fricke guests in place of Jensen at Worky & Trashfield.

Nice practice for next Sunday ;)

I'm sure he'll appreciate not having to partner Derek Sneddon for a change . But his addition makes it a more interesting meeting . And i don't think any of your mob really need the extra practice .

has the 7/8 day rule been abolished this season? bit out of touch!

Fricke was in the pits with Aaron Fox last week (just incase that is remotely interesting to anyone lol)

Rules change to suit on an everyday basis

Can't see a 14 point win for the tigs, but hopefully they'll keep Barker quiet! A bit of confidence after a few wins could make our visit an interesting one.

Your visit's aren't that interesting any more and i mean that we meet too many times per season the hype and interest has worn off long ago.

12-14 point win Tomorrow before our home form continues with a 20 point win next week need to check a programme to see who we have got next week.

I agree, it does seem we see you every couple of weeks or so. But, it is still a derby! I bet your bottom dollar if it's tight going into the last few heats there will be a lot of buzz around.

Rule amended this season to only permitted one guest appearance within 7days as 2 - 7, either side, or no.1 for visitors in PL fixtures.

As Fricke's next appearance @ Trashfield on 6/7 will not be as a guest, Plymouth's choice complies with the 2014 rules.

thanks cyclone. I wasnt questioning him riding, just what the rule now was! Could explain why Glasgow booked MPT for 2 of the 3 days last week as well (although as it turned out it was better he wasnt booked for the 3rd!)

They are.

Not gonna sleep tonight now! :P

Looking forward to todays match .Dont really like the choice of the guest for Dimitri Todd Kurtz scored 7pts in the red revolution meeting

he beat patrick nagy, okay he beat Grievsy but that day, then last behind Bager,Roynon & Nielsen.then beat Joe Hainesthen finished 2nd to Compton .

Then he came later on the season with Plymouth and scored 4 blobs, not a very inspiring choice of guest IMO.Also Stewart tells Anders & Theo that they are in the same team.

C'mon the Tigers
