Sadly his season was ended by a nasty crash at Oxford, which also claimed Swede Micheal Blixt as another victim, infact I think it ended Blixt`s career.

think blixt still involved in speedway, does he not manufacture carbs

one word answer NO

I would disagree,he was aWorld Class Rider and to chance coming to Berwick at that stage of his career was a brave move and he never let us down also appeared in the World Final as a Bandit help us win aTrophy EL level.Class act.Whether he ever got the money he was promised well only he can answer that. You never know how long he would have been a Bandit if Lindon hadn't done a runner .

Theonly reason he came to Berwick was the money seen it as an easy payday, it wasn't only Lindon at fault there was others involved who liked to spend his money on over inflated contracts

Was that the season Berwick had 2 No1s

Berwick had Tatum, Jimmy Nilsson and Richard Knight as a top three, the rest of the team was mostly made up from the previous years PL team, Blackburn, Grant, Robson, Little etc, though Berwick did bring in the likes of Michael Blixt to bolster the team.

Fancy that a speedway rider signing a good contract to earn good money. :o

Micheal Blixt, what an amazing rider!

Sadly injury ended his riding days.

Terry Lindens record since his Berwick days hasn't improved he was involved in an personal injury insurance scam which went to court , but somehow he convinced the jury of his innocence I'm sure there was another case that saw him in court this time it was a fake investment scam

trouble was it wasn't Lindons money they were spending by the sound of things and events that followed.

After all out rain offs this season, Tatum is having a laugh if he thinks there is any spare money up here. Maybe we could pay any money owed in pies.

Save a couple for when I'm up for the Rockets restaged meeting

I'd hope Kelvin would get a decent reception at Berwick next week.....from the fans that were old enough to remember when he rode for us! If i wasn't being paid, i wouldn't go to my work either!

No matter what peoples personal thoughts on Kelvin are it should always be remembered that he was a class act , some may argue maybe he wasn't one of the greatest of team players around , he gave his all , even when he was due a substantial sum of of money from the club . Anyone who traveled to Oxford for the gold cup final and saw his and Mikeal Blixt's horrific crash ( after the cup had been won incidentally ) couldn't doubt his commitment . Personally I wouldn't like to see him get any abuse from the Bandits fans that kind of behaviour does the club no favours at all .
