Paulco
it really is pathetic, I'm sure some only watch it so they can nit pick.... They want to get a life IMO like True , to get a hard on about a slip of the tongue or a mistake by a commentator is pretty sad
Young51
I didnt think it'd take long for our Weegie chums George & Mr Paulco to come out the woodwork and bask in someone elses glory..still it's been slim pickings for your lot for years now so pretty predictable really Well done to Berwick on their win in the end.Poor choice to put Cookie in gate one in Ht15 i thought, but our management get it right more often than not so we'll let them off this time.Have to say,and i keep on hoping the racing will improve at Shielfield, but FTG,FTG,FTG etc etc ad nauseum seems to be the norm whenever i've visited..honest question to my Bandit brother & sisters as a speedway fan..How the hell can you watch that guff every week?I'm sorry but four gadges going really fast with virtually no passing doesn't make it for me at all.Fair play for going, but the Berrington Polo Mint at least delivered exciting racing.Anyways all thoughts with Matty and Aaron (Fox not summers ya baloon Pearson ) Horrible spill and i hope both are ok.Cheers Edited August 12, 2014 by Young51
Cj69
Losing Worrall at reserve has impacted greatly to Edinburgh on the road . They're still probably the best team in the league , but the gap has closed dramatically . Agree about the reserves, I see Berwick as slightly better because they have the scoring power in reserve (why no Kus in 14 tho ) but then again our top 5 stronger. Should be an interesting play offs and would still see us picking Berwick if given chance purely because they are rather crap at Armadale. Mark
Its a draining physical track. Maybe the TM was keeping Kus for 15 and didn't want him riding two races 14 and 15. Berwick won so it made no difference.

Monarchlad
Should be.....best gater wins as always at Berwick, tonight there were 14 from the gate, and one(Doolan) on the second bend, at the most 3 passes all night

Star Fever
Best wishes to Matty Wethers and Aaron Fox after a horrific ht 14 crash - hopefully not as serious as it looked.

emilali
Best wishes to Matty on a swift recovery and also to Fox. Not the greatest of meetings but anybody with a brain is aware its the shape of the track not the preparation that is to blame. Thought Berwick presenter themselves very well. Really a big fan of Steen Jensen and after seeing him at redcar on Thur I was really baffled by his performance tonight, really dont feel Berwick is his track. Another 3 points on the board though. JanAndersen
Not sure why Wethers was pushing so hard in ht14. A 4-2 was enough to seal the meeting.
Shadders
That delay before heat 15 probably cost the Moanarchs a point. Encouragimg result for Berwick, but if I was the Edinburgh promotion I'd be choosing Berwick as their play off opponent, they'll win on aggregate very easily nonsense, he made a rick.... Should be.....best gater wins as always at Berwick, tonight there were 14 from the gate, and one(Doolan) on the second bend, at the most 3 passes all night Pretty similar to what I saw at Edinburgh v Berwick a few weeks ago Edited August 12, 2014 by Shadders
CardinalSin
Never been to Berwick but knew it was a big track. However, I was pretty shocked to see how tight and narrow the straights were in particular! Maybe the camera was playing tricks a little and they aren't quite as narrow as it looked on TV

Shadders
Pretty decent meeting ? bar the score there was about 1 pass ? this IS what I was on about how people big up PL speedway I was at Swindon v Poole on the eve of the 2012 Cardiff GP, can't remember many genuine passes. It was pretty dull for the class of rider on show Edited August 12, 2014 by Shadders
Paulco
One meeting in isolation from hundreds raced over the last few months Dont rise to it , predictable from Elite Leaguers
one arm bandit
Thought it was a polyfoam fence at Berwick? Also thought they had a strict curfew! Agree bad management on 14 though It is a poly foam fence and berwick had permission from the council tonight to scrap the curfew. Totally agree about heat 14, how kus wasn't in it I don't no!!
