screm
Could you explain how you can come to that conclusion.Bit of a random statement another "ours is better than yours stuff" . A typical post from the one who never goes on forums.

sparkafag
I enjoyed the meeting. Craig Cooks obsession with the Berwick track is very odd. You need to learn to ride them all and just get on with it if you want to be a world beater, plenty of other riders have managed to find ways to pass around Berwick.
spin king
Not the greatest meeting for entertainment. But it takes two teams to make an entertaining meeting, and reading the social media comments made about Berwick and the side comments made at the meeting by some of the Monarchs riders I think they were a bit negative about the track Berwick started pretty well and took control of the meeting, then for only to appear to try and throw away the meeting, and I still trying to get my head around why they did not use Kus in heat 14, even Nigel and Kelvin worked that one out. The crash was an awful one, and my best wishes go out to both young Fox and Matt Wethers for a speedy recovery. End of the day just about the right result. . Popular Post westhamboy66
Those knocking Berwick, their track and the racing it brings should think before they prattle on. The constraints they suffer when running with a track around a football pitch leaves them very little scope to improve their product. Do they want them to close? Any speedway is better than none especially at places like Berwick where from my many visits there they seem very proud to have their team. Have seen far less interesting meetings from tracks like Lakeside Wolverhampton Belle Vue Coventry on sky. Best wishes to Matty for a speedy recovery

Robinh88
Ok not lot of passing . However great result . Atmosphere was best i have seen in ages at berwick. The good thing though was the amount of new people st the meeting. I brought one myself and they enjoyed it . Hope arron and matty not too badly hurt . As to matej kus stunning at minute. As i said pre season he was all up for it and had sorted out head. So all the doubters plz eat your words.should have been in ht 14 same as should have had extra ride at redcar. Hopefully team managment can learn . Alex still ok imo thats paid 18 in three meetings fair return from reserve. Kus rode for Torun in 2009/10 9 point average for Redcar up until the mid point of the 2011 season Lost his way at Redcar (not the first or the last) Kus always had the ability because of the way the the team has been constructed Kus has had the opportunity to find his best form. Kus certainly the best bandit at the moment all credit to him
northyorksbear
Firstly best wishes to Matty & Aaron From a neutral speedway fan watching on Sky - an enjoyable meeting, primarily because of the new concept of having a meeting run in thirds - 15-15, 24-6, 4-19 (before nominated heat)resulting in close finish. Entertainment racing wise I have to say was at a premium, but as discussed Berwick are limited with track shape and nearly always tracks around football/rugby pitches have tight entry/exits to bends which means limited passing. I passed comment on Berwick team management after Redcar meeting which cost them a point and it came so close to being deja vu last night, it isn't even "playing a hunch" or "taking a gamble" - not putting Kus out was blatant mismanagement and as mentioned in previous thread top TMs change reserves to maximise who they will and will not beat!

Like Adrian Rymel he is a typically thankful Czech who really appreciates every sponsor who are helping him achieve what we all new he was capable of. ROCK ON TEAM KUS

My apologies if i'm 'prattling on' sir,but i'm just being honest that's all Edited August 13, 2014 by Young51

Delighted he is now back to the rider we all know he can be

Delighted he is now back to the rider we all know he can be Thank you my friend, Matej's head was in a strange place while at Redcar, in all that time Brian Havelock still believed in him, the demons are now out of the way, and we are seeing the real Matej Kus. On you Berwick management points, I do so much agree with you, I think they need a mentor to help them while getting around trying to manage, perhaps someone like Tom Graham who has so much knowledge of team tactics. Berwick folks will say how good it is, Monarchs one will moan on the other side of the coin, more so after a defeat but that is same in football. You lose and you blame the Ref, pitch, poor catering, etc

My apologies if i'm 'prattling on' sir,but i'm just being honest that's all Edinburgh v Working was turgid, absolutely rancid as a spectacle, zero entertainment and an utter dump of a stadium, how that looked to a possible newcomer god knows. If attracting the newcomers is a concern best to offer a few words of advice on an Edinburgh thread before spending so much time obsessing over Berwick. Chris Hutcheson
While Sheilfield is right up there with the best Stadia in the world! The product is racing and Armadale wins hands down over that first two bend rubbish! Blame what you want, the shape, the preparation or the weather. You can ALWAYS count the passes on one hand in a night at Berwick. Maybe even in your double header.

What I would say though is it's mostly from the home team which is thrilling if you're a Monarch, but isn't if you're not.
