Indianerna – Dackarna (tv meeting):

race card: http://www.mediafire.com/view/h9zlj2om3c3nkmo/ES.R8.Indianerna-Dackarna.pdf

Indianerna

  1. Fredrik Lindgren
  2. Kenneth Bjerre
  3. Piotr Protasiewicz
  4. Antonio Lindbäck
  5. Niels-Kristian Iversen
  6. Mikael Max
  7. Joel Andersson

Dackarna

  1. Patryk Dudek
  2. Mikkel Bech
  3. Nicki Pedersen (K)
  4. Krzystof Buczkowski
  5. Joonas Kylmäkorpi
  6. Robin Aspegren
  7. Dennis Andersson

This weeks tv-meeting is the top fight between Indianerna and Dackarna.

Dackarna started the season really well and is the only team so far that have defeated Rospiggarna in this years series.

Indianerna had allot of injuries in the beginning but have two straight wins from last week when they took two very big wins

against Västervik and against Piraterna. This week Piotr Protasiewicz is back from injury which means that Woodward

and Swiderski is out. It also means that Joel Andersson also is back in the lineup.

This will be a very tough meeting which could end either way but Indianerna looks very hot at the moment so I think they will win this.

Hopefully the track will be of its usual standard which provides very good racing as we could see earlier in the season in the

meeting between Indianerna and Elit Vetlanda.

Västervik – Ikaros Smederna:

Västervik

  1. Krzysztof Kasprzak
  2. Peter Ljung (K)
  3. Hans Andersen
  4. Rune Holta
  5. Troy Batchelor
  6. Ludvig Lindgren
  7. Mathias Thörnblom

Ikaros Smederna

  1. Oliver Berntzon
  2. Grigorij Laguta R/R
  3. Kenni Larsen
  4. Grzegorz Zengota
  5. Peter Karlsson
  6. Mikkel Michelsen
  7. Magnus Zetterström

Västervik has made plenty of changes in the transfer window as a last desperate measure to try to avoid being buried in the last place in the standings.

They have got a good opportunity tomorrow against Smederna which are without Laguta who are injured.

Västervik have to win tomorrow or else it would start to look very bad for Västervik.

However I think Västervik will win this due to the absence of Laguta but the team have ridden well before without Laguta (away against Piraterna) and

they will use R/R this time. Smederna's reserves should have the upper hand against Västervik's ditto.

Young Berntzon will for the first time in his career ride as a heat leader in Elitserien, I hope he doesn't feel too much pressure.

Vargarna – Piraterna:

Vargarna

  1. Martin Vaculik
  2. Pontus Aspgren R/R
  3. Peter Kildemand (K)
  4. Billy Forsberg
  5. Adrian Miedzinski
  6. Tomasz Gipinski
  7. Ricky Kling

Piraterna

  1. Bjarne Pedersen
  2. Rory Schlein
  3. Darcy Ward
  4. Linus Sundström
  5. Greg Hancock (K)
  6. Simon Gustafsson
  7. Anton Rosén

Quite surprising, Vargarna actually have more points then Piraterna who again suffers from injury on one of their top riders.

The way the team is built, Piraterna are very sensitive to injuries on their top riders so I think Vargarna will be able to take their

second straight win.

Elit Vetlanda – Rospiggarna:

Elit Vetlanda

  1. Tai Woffinden
  2. Emil Sayfutdinov
  3. Jaroslaw Hampel
  4. Jacob Thorssell
  5. Janusz Kolodziej
  6. Tomas H Jonasson
  7. Magnus Karlsson

Rospiggarna

  1. Andreas Jonsson
  2. Jonas Davidsson
  3. Mads Korneliussen
  4. Timo Lahti
  5. Andzejs Lebedevs
  6. Grzegorz Walasek
  7. Kim Nilsson

I don't think there is much to say about this meeting, Vetlanda should win fairly comfortably at home

against Rospiggarna. Rospiggarna have made one change and that is Harris who is left outside the

team because of poor results from him (only 3p as a reserve last week)

and he his replaced by Latvian talent Andzejs Lebedevs,

Thank you for your always insightful preview. So Pepe is riding after missing out yesterday in Poland ? Let's hope this week shows the Elitserien in a good light, if only to shut up some of the nay-sayers of the last two weeks. Regards. Alan.

It's matches like this we will miss the Jack and Sam show as Pepe's name would be a subject of much mirth as Sooty and Sweep cock it up time and again. :(

Hoping for an exciting tight match tonight.

Rospiggarna getting rid of Harris was a no brainer as he was useless last time he was on TV.

Lebedev is a much more reliable rider and they should stick with him and not let harris whine his way back into the team the way he does the SGP :)

He has now been dumped by his top Polish team and now his top Swedish team.

He even got dropped by his Polish 1st division team.

I used to really like Chris but he spends too much time making excuses. He really needs someone to show him the way back as he used to be a pretty decent man to have in your team instead of the passenger and liability he seems to be nowadays :(

Vargarna

  1. Martin Vaculik
  2. Pontus Aspgren R/R
  3. Peter Kildemand (K)
  4. Billy Forsberg
  5. Adrian Miedzinski
  6. Tomasz Gipinski
  7. Ricky Kling

Piraterna

  1. Bjarne Pedersen
  2. Rory Schlein
  3. Darcy Ward
  4. Linus Sundström
  5. Greg Hancock (K)
  6. Simon Gustafsson
  7. Anton Rosén

Last week Miedzinski took one of Aspgren's rides which surprised me a lot. Have R/R rules changed? Can team manager pick ANY rider with higher avarage? I'm pretty sure Miedzinski was not the one directly above Aspgren.

Krompa no the team manager cannot choose any rider. It is all riders with a lower floating average+the rider

which is the rider with the closest higher average,

Tonight Ricky Kling, Billy Forsberg and Tomasz Gapinski can take the R/R heats.

I also checked last weeks meeting's score and Miedzinski did not take a R/R heat.

He did in heat 5 (gate 3) and took 6 rides on the night.

If you look at the floating averages in last weeks's lineup; http://www.mediafire.com/view/s0k2m3g68aui92q/ES.2014.R7.Vargarna-IkarosSmederna.pdf

Only Kildemand and Vaculik had a higher floating average is higher then Aspgren's floating average.

I wonder if Sam realises it's a different bloke from last week?

I'm going with the Poles.

Good crowd, track looks good and a decent heat 1 to start it off. Think we are in for a good one . :t:

Nice to see Linback back in form.

Poor Nicki getting hustled out of first place

The new bloke gets excited and shouts a bit so will get stick from those who don't like Shouty and Nicey and prefer speedway commentators to sound more dignified.

Better than the other Dave. I like him. Even Sam has been gibberish free so far except for getting a bit mixed up with Joonas Kylmäkorpi's name at the end.
