Who's Going To Watch "life Of Tai" Tonight, And What Are Your Thoughts About Tai Before, And Then After The Programme?

Recommended Posts

He seems to have developed a mindset that he believes pain is just an inconveniecnce, and won't stop him andthat he has no fear of receiving a serious injury in his quest for staying at the top. Is this a good place to be?

Who is He?

Sorry Gustix, should have started the post with "Tai"

In a thread about Tai who did you think he was referring to - Barry Manilow?

It was all sorted before the last Poster waihekeaces jumped on the bandwagon!

Think it was Peter Craven.

Excellent programme. Tai came across well and it gave a good insight into the life of a top rider.

The 1955 Final was on the 16th September, Craven was 21 years and 87 days

The 1954 final was on 15th September, Ronnie was 21 years and 230 days

Mike Lee is the next youngest in 1980

Excellent Post - apart jumping about between first and surnames! How old exactly then was Michael Lee when he won the title in 1980 and Tai Woffinden when he clinched the last 2013 GP to claim the title?

Well I could post the answer but I would be afraid the writing style may not be to your liking and cause you to make more idiotic comments so I will decline

Incidentally should it not be first and last names or christian and surnames, not jumping between the two are you

It is nice to see the word Christian (note caps) but these days not all in the UK follow that faith - some don't follow any faith anyway. I also accept that surname should be relevant to Christian names. The alternative is as you point out first and last names.

Only problem being, that's you as well...

Sorry I'm gonna have to agree with you , the sun is shining and I'm busy . Just troll the forums as normal you'll soon find someone to cause trouble with

Isn't altering a post in a quote totally against forum rules

Have I committed that offence? Possibly - but where? Did it alter the message context or was just a literal correction?

Don't bother to report me - I have made several BSF Reports about bad language and other matters- no action by Mods or even an acknowledgment of the Report.

Surely the practice of debate is to read forums and where one finds a topic of interest to respond to it if one feels this is needed? How does one define between active participation in debates (for which forums exist) and the "crime of being a troll"?

try this !, look through this thread and find a post from bewitcher that has content pertaining to the OP . then look through this thread and find a post from bewitcher ,that is nothing to do with the subject but is a comment made directly to another poster , it's that simple

To quote the tattoo Tai has across his upper torso - "Pain is just weakness leaving your body"

He seems to have the attitude to life that it is better to take risks and try to achieve something than to play safe and die wondering, and good on him for that.

What superb, well run programme that was. Anyone who seems to have an 'issue' with Woffy I highly recommend you watch that programme. Can't work out if some posts are tongue in check, or they're just plain idiotic. Refusing to watch a speedway programme about the youngest world champion ever, who is also a Brit, whether your a fan of his or not, is ridiculous in my eyes.

Watching the programme has only made me see even more how much Woffy has been through and what a top guy he is. Really appreciate all he is doing media wise etc for British speedway.

Think it's obvious that Woffy has learnt the errors he made as a young lad and that's only helped him more. Superb stuff from sky sports, really hope guys watching who aren't into speedway, has given them someone to 'follow' and maybe entise more fans to speedway.

Well done Tai and all the sky sports producers.. 10/10!!

I thought it was a wonderful Programme. Tai has done wonders for Speedway.I thought he came across as a very dedicated, hard working, focused, brave, professional and caring young man. I was particularly impressed when he was at the Hospital with the little children. He seemed to be able to relate to them in a way that did not seem forced in any way, and they seemed to relate to him.

He was very frank about not being great at School. I thought he was very honest right through the Programme.

What a tremendous asset to Speedway Tai has become. I believe Speedway needs Tai Woffinden probably more than Tai needs Speedway.

He came across as a young man who knows exactly where he is going, and knows how to get there.

A person who I would be very proud to invite to any School Debate, Fair, Reunion anywhere - as a very good example of today's young people.
