Shale Searcher
He seems to have developed a mindset that he believes pain is just an inconveniecnce, and won't stop him andthat he has no fear of receiving a serious injury in his quest for staying at the top. Is this a good place to be?
Vince
Think that's the place inhabited by most motorcycle racers!
packerman
I have set this to record now just have to do the second part and watch it. When you consider that I used to go nearly every week to watch I just haven't been able to attend any meetings yet this year :-(
Ommer Mon
I am really looking forward to seeing the programme. Â For me Tai is a real conundrum. He is a brilliant racer (did I just say that about a Wolves rider?), he is an excellent speaker who is a great ambassador for the sport but he has a rather individual approach to his image with the tatoos, ears etc. Â Let's not forget the excellent work he does for charity too. Â I think tonight will give more of an insight into his character and the amount of organisation that he has to put into his professional sporting life. Â It will be interesting to compare with the Ivan Mauger Story (the Flying Kiwi) from many years ago. Â It should be a really good watch. Â Looking forward to seeing the other side of just riding a bike round a track, travelling, organisation etc, its the kind of programme I`ve been wanting to see for a while. Â IMO Woffinden has matured over the last few years and made himself into a top sportsman, very media savy, talks well and most importantly does it on the track. We are very fortunate to have him as our World Champ.
Wiseguy
I have great respect for Tai, as I have all speedway riders, they all put their lives on the line for our entertainment, unsure as to why the attitudes on here to certain riders are quite toxic, We all have our favourites, of course, But Tai should be a national hero for British speedway fans. Â I will be watching with my kids who also think he's fantastic

That's so not the case, riders race for themselves for there enjoyment,it just happens that there are people there who pay to watch them. Â So I take it you would be happy and proud if your kids come home one day with big holes on there earlobes and tattoos on there neck and face. Â Â I think the way woffy looks is sad and clearly he has been badly advised. Â Not sure he would of been British champion had it not been on his home track yet again. Â I do admire his charity work and his bravery but not interested in this programme at all.

Daniel Smith
Â Where's SCB? What do you need SCB for he'd only say it's a pathetic statement and he'd be 100% correct. They do it for their own pleasure and enjoyment and earn a good living doing what they love. The only bit they do for us supporters is maybe one of their show off wheelies. Then again, that may be an ego massage exercise. Â Apart from the odd autograph and chat during meetings there's not a lot else for the fans

I have asked my wife to flog me with a cat'o'ninetails for even thinking of watching what I actually like . as soon as I have recovered from the flogging I will do my duty as a speedway fan and remove all the posters of my speedway heroes from the garage wall and replace them with pictures of the new messiah . In terms of ear rings, tattoos etc, its the modern way, maybe old farts like me aren't exactly enamoured with them but what he does is his business.

He became champion of the world because his main rivals were badly injured and was out longer than he was,not sure he would of beat emil but I think his bravery was awesome. Â Being world champion is not like it was several years ago as it's such a weaker line up,but he became WC and may end up runner up to ward this year. Â Yes maybe your right with his image not being for old farts lol

Why do you think Tai has been "advised" let alone "badly advised" over the way he looks? Surely to god he's allowed to make his own decisions on what he has on/in his own body - it is his after all. If anyone tried to tell me how to be they'd get short shrift! Firstly, I don't always say anything, I have only posted a few times, I'm not particularly fond of his look, but, he is an individual and is entitled to do what he wants, You're right, I wouldn't be impressed if my children came home like that, but i'm assuming they will have job interviews and the like which Tai will never have to do  I was a young child attending one of my first meetings when a rider was killed on the track, it's never left my mind, and I admire them all   Oh . apologies for the toxic comments , for a moment there i had forgotten that being a member Of the BSF also means that I am a speedway fan and therefore it is mandatory for me to Like Tai woffinden as both a person and a rider, and be interested in the the day to day affairs of his life , had you not corrected me I would probably have gone to my next speedway meeting not knowing what Tai has for breakfast , or what colour his kitchen units are , of course I will be watching I, In fact I have turned the relevant TV channel on right now and am sitting on a porta-potty to ensure even natures call cannot prevent me missing a single second of this Must see documentary of all things Woofy .  Yes maybe your right with his image not being for old farts lol think Tai can be critisized for some things, but you cant critisize him for the opposition. He beat what was in front of him, like any sportsman. The record books will see him go down in history. Would the pole of won the 73 world title had Mauger not fell? loads of champs over the years win it for different pieces of luck. Tai could potentially be a multi champion, and in a day where british speedway is on its knees, Tai should be shouted from the roof-tops
