Paulco
Who does he think he is, Joe Screen! Setting himself up nicely for a low average return to El Dale in 2015. That whisper has being getting louder as the weeks go by . His number 1 performance in last week's KO Cup meeting doesn't count in his average
george.m
In recent Premier League matches MPT has beaten Danny Phillips and Luke Bowen. If Glasgow have any sense they'll find a different guest in future. Tom perry would do. Fred Perry would do.
oldtimer
In recent Elite matches matches, Palm Toft has finished in front of Chris holder, Josh Grajczonek, Matej Zagar and Stuart Robson, if Glasgow have any sense they will give him 7 rides at reserve. Will be checking on "Live Updates". Totally wrong about Palm Toft makes you wonder if he had his Elite League bikes with him. Nothing on Rebels web site but just read in Speedway Star that their away match at Sheffield on Monday 28th July will be on SKY.

Gazc
Wolbert back in edinburgh line up for 2015.....is he aiming for a reserve position? Who knows and do we really care i certainly Don't as far as i am concerned he can leave now and prepare his bike set up in prepartion for the dump hopefully we choose more carefully in future our choice off rider. But do we really think this is in his interest's to lower his average it may look like that to some but if he is not scoring he is not earning but apart from the odd meeting he has been a woeful signing . Dont understand why Wolbert has been so bad in the premier this year. He rode fairly well last year for Belle Vue and I would of expected at least an 8 or 9 point average from him. MYSTERY. My comments were just being sarcastic. I'm frustrated to no end that a decent racer is chucking in the performances he is. I don't doubt for a minute that he is even interested in his average. What I am interested in is getting a No1 that can score decent points with double figures at home. ATM Wolbert has a shocking number of last places to his name. Mr Blobby
leave agent wolbert alone he is trying his best and that all you can ask for from a rider get behind him instead of giving him stick
Robinh88
pretty sure wolbert netted 13 points there in 2011... Can't understand why he is still there

Najjer
Love this , almost as smug as " you know who " Not smug, but was always on the cards with our home form and your team containing riders who rarely ever do well at our place. A couple of people have mentioned Charles Wright already on this thread but he's been something else of late, he looks so quick and scoring massively - long may this continue!!

Gazc
leave agent wolbert alone he is trying his best and that all you can ask for from a rider get behind him instead of giving him stick In general we have got behind him but for a rider that was signed as your No 1 and on this seasons averages alone has dropped 2.5 points off it then the point comes were you have to say enough is enough this is just not good enough. The problem we have now is points available if we do eventually replace him as his starting average off 8.4 is a distant memory and replacing him with someone else may be out the frying pan into the fire scenario.
Bagpuss
Hmmmm I seem to remember Nermark getting loads of stick at Edinburgh in 2005 for coming in on a big average and failing to deliver. Any number one who is poor will get it in the neck. Can't imagine he is deliberately average lowering but with speedway you never know.

If he's to be a true No1 he should have broad enough shoulders to handle stick. It's one of the responsibilities of the role. In short, a team's top rider needs to be man enough to take the rough with the smooth.
