Newcastle V Sheffield Premier League Sunday 22nd June 2014

Recommended Posts

This season is just getting worse especially as thing were starting to improve. This meeting would have been considered easy 3 points not long ago now wouldnt be over confident Sheffield have as great chance if top guys actually win races as they could get more confidence like the Bears did against a much weaker team than usual. Definetly need King,Ludvig,Rose and especially Mills possibly 7 rides to ride like they did last week and the guests must also contribute especially Summers.

Typically condescending response from you.

Agree Summers has been poor around Brough in recent seasons although he normally does a good job when guesting for us and looked on the way to a good score in the Redcar match until he blew his engine.

Lambert also has a poor record here although who knows what the options were.

I see the update site has r/r for Lewis Rose. He rode for King's Lynn in midweek didn't he?

Goldilock's should do ok for us,,, agree with what you say about his recent form,,, but maybe he get's paid more, or the 'bears' are'nt there to bother him :-)

Best I've seen steady ride newcastle for a long long time, and to a lesser effect lambert early on...summers did very well as did Lewis rose, lindgren also looked to be getting back to his best before burning his clutch out,

Gotta say though, lanham, Compton and Poole were awful,... Particularly lanham.

And your opinion of Summers as Newcastle guest after tonight is...............

I never had a problem with Summers guesting for us tonight, Pablo thought it was a poor choice and Steve Park stuck up for the management as usual.

Good win for the Diamonds considering the weakened team but normal Sheffield peformance apart from fantastic effort from Stead and the score flattered them most of the point were luck or when meeting was already over as a result. However Diamonds all rode well with Rose my mvp Ludvig and king unlucky to not score more, Mills stuck in as usual since he signed and great effort from guests. Tigers may be awful but Summers was still excellent and did the job we asked of him and Lambert helped get us of to quick start in heat 2 and deserved more than he got great effort, might get more meetings if Schrammy doesnt come back soon. Great news about Robbo and Kerr injury not serious hope we can actually have 7 fit riders soon.

And I will continue to do so, when I believe they are right, so get used to it.

Yes but no need to be so patronising to others when you do so. Like to me last week when I mentioned the lack of fixtures in the PL this year. Interesting that George, in his programme notes tonight, said the lack of fixtures was a "ridiculous situation".......possibly nothing to do with a certain tournament then?

Where's that humble pie.........
