MDL

The recent Midland Development League clash between Kings Lynn Lightning and Milton Keynes Knights has been declared null and void.

A four rider crash in heat 4 saw the meeting abandoned but the race was not awarded as initially reported. Therefore as per MDL regulations the points cannot be awarded as the meeting had not reached a result in the fourth heat. This is the ruling of the SCB based on the referee’s report.

The clash will now be re-run and the MDL table has been amended accordingly to reflect this .

MDL

Kings Lynn v Milton Keynes MDL nhall gation into the Kings Lynnresult reinstated:

After a thorough investigation into the Kings Lynn v Milton Keynes clash that was abandoned after a four rider pile up in heat 4 the result has been reinstated by the SCB as Kings Lynn 11 Milton Keynes 12.

There was minor confusion as to whether heat 4 had been awarded by the referee Ronnie Allan but it has been revealed that it had been and this was announced.

Therefore this MDL match will now not have to be re-staged and the points amended in the league table.
