Edinburgh Vs Rye House (20th Of June)

Recommended Posts

Jason G has loads of ability, i dont think he is up his own arse, Im pretty sure he just gets frustrated more so with himself, but he does need to control that temper, he could ruin what is a promising career. Also a few years ago the people he had round him in the pits didnt help ( i well remember after a meeting at Monmore he came round with a young guy on the back of his bike, this young guy was giving the home fans 2 fingers) someone needs to get hold of Jason and straighten him out.

People slag off Nicki Pedersen for his antics and yet who is the rider most talked about on the forum ..oh yes Nicki. A meeting is over at Armadale and what are people talking about? The racing? The score? No Mr Garrity. He's one of the few i am happy to watch at Rye House. Funny how Edinburgh supporters forget the Antics of Mr Cook down at Foxall, criminal damage is obviously ok?

One of the things missing from Speedway are the likes of Mullarkey, Grant, Millen etc being present to liven things up. We don't miss them til they are gone. Its a high octane sport and these things happen enjoy them don't try and sterilise the sport even further, God whatever next Female Start Marshalls or Refs???

I love Nicki!!

I'll never forget Mr Cook at Ippo but was was a year ago - needed some up to date antics.

And I don't think the heater shed any blood.

No problem with female Start Marshalls or Refs as long as they can count, watch the racing and know and enforce the rules.

No matter what, if an Edinburgh rider is involved in anything it's never their fault ever lol, can't remember ever seeing a post on here from a monarch that's ever said, oh aye that was wrong or he was at fault or out of control etc... It's always the track, ref or opposition.... :)

Good to see the monarchs fans coming back on here now they are half decent, we've missed you :)

So did Garritty deck Falkirks hardest in the pits then??... Prob learned how to handle himself in a young offenders institution a few years ago or summit :)

Kelvin Mullarkey was an absolute headcase, todays riders don't come close to him thankfully.

Riders insurance premiums probably went down when he retired!

Garrittys ability isn't in question and I don't think his temperament is that bad normally, it was just a frustrating night for him and it boiled over.

There can't be many riders who haven't lost the plot at some point in their career.

Bringing up Sneddons past is a cheap shot and shows what ignorant, spiteful little non entities will do to make themselves feel important. Still I suppose coming on here makes a change from playing with yourselves in a dark room.

Gets you out and that. One day you might even get to a Speedway meeting.

So you think it is acceptable to try and hit people across the head with a helmet not once not twice but 3 times???

I am all for a little bit if handbags but Garrity actions last night were those of a thug.

No I wasn't, hence I asked about the Garrity episode.... Why you ask?? You going to say because I wasn't there I can't ask a question or wonder why in general everything that maybe controversial is always someone else's fault?

No I was just curious that if you were there how you could have interpreted that episode as being anything other than Garrity starting the fighting.

Re previous scuffles etc. opposing sets of fans will generally take their own teams side, that's human nature I guess but it is a bit of a leap to say that every single Edinburgh fan or any other fan will be completely blinkered in their views.

Interesting photo in the local press up here which is pretty damning and hilarious at the same time. When you see it you'll know what I mean. Perhaps someone can post it here. Comedy gold.

they collided going across the the start/finish line and dereks footrest got caught in garrity chain and knocked it off these things happen in speedway! yes?

Garrity then waited on derek at the pit gate, a few words were exchanged before garrity threw a left hand at him then attempted to hit him across the head with his helmet while derek was still sitting on his bike. Obviously Derek didn't take to kindly to that and thumped him back before they were pulled apart Derek then walked away from the situation and back into the pits mean while Garrity was still on the track being held back by several people as he was still trying to go after derek.

I agree that we haven't exactly been perfect in the past in these situations but this time we were the innocent victim. :P

I wasn't saying that deek started it??.... I'm asking why it's always someone else's fault that's all, surely even now and again it's Not??.... I understand what you mean about fans, but why not just tell it as it is, rather than justifying any episode through the faults or mistakes of others.

I think we may be talking at cross purposes. I don't think I suggested you did say that Derek started it, but would have been amazed to read that you did think that were you at the match.

Fans are people after all and we all have our flaws. Some more than others.

It did seem an over reaction by Garrity last night completely disproportionate to the on track incident that I assume he blames for causing him to stop.

The lad is beginning to make tracks in the sport but won't win many fans for carrying on like that. Hopefully he can sort things out.

Makes me laugh how people defend sneddon and call garrity a thug yet sneddon used to rob innocent peoples cars and burn them out!!!

Thats makes sneddon a much bigger bellend than garrity will ever be.

Hope garrity did knock him out in the pits. Tosser.

get a grip mate. your comments are yet again not worth reading.

we are talking about last night and the matter on track.

bye
