SCB
If garrity did deck him as someone has claimed i'm sure people would have been talking about it in the bar afterwards or at least mentioned not one person mentioned anything of the sorts other than what happened on the track. Apparently there is a picture of the pair in the pits afterwards hugging each other though. Lets hope thats the case. A speedway rider gets upset. They both have a bit of handbags (or helmets!) but kiss and make up later. The fans go home having been entertained and all is good with the World. Lets have more fights! As long as it's only between the riders and not any of the hangers on, officials or pit crews.

And they shake hands or share a beer afterwards. Can still remember some of the spats from the 60s & 70 s but have long forgotten the races lol
george.m
Don't know what all the fuss is about? If Deek did a bit of porridge, he'll be familiar with having another man's helmet in his face.
Shadders
I find it ironic that the same people who used to defend Ryan Fishers antics are berating Jason Garrity. I've seen loads of punch ups between riders at speedway. Big deal. Sneddons no saint. Get o'er yesels. Get o'er yesels. all for a wee bit if handbags adds to the meetings but using your helmet as a weapon is pushing that little bit to far IMO all because he knocked his chain off in a racing incident. Agreed derek is no saint himself just ask Micky dyer. The only thing holding Jason back from making it to the top is the fact the boy doesn't have any brain cells what so ever. mdmc82
True. but garrity makes darcy look intelligent wouldn't have said that if you had seen him looking like he had just been asked the hardest question in the world last night when picking which gates he wanted. only had to pick a number. Odds On
You don't need a lot of brains to be a very good sportsman, you only have to look at previous speedway World Champions to see that...the biggest talking from last night is the Garrity and Sneddon incidents, if I was part of the Monarchs promotion I would be working hard to somehow get Garrity riding in Edinburgh ASAP, whether as an opponent or as a Guest. 'f'naaar f'naaar mr gimlet'..... 'you may laugh young finbarr, but I saw him pushing his helmet at him three times, if he hadn't kept slapping it away there'd have been a right mess all over his face'... 'gwap, gwap, kwak, kwak, fubble, fubble' etc etc etc.... something to talk about after the meeting has finished? might add 'something' to the next meeting that both are in so attracts a few more '50/50's'..? no-one got hurt, adds a bit of spice to a meeting? never catch on, in fact... 'it's a disgrace, blah, blah, role models, blah blah, young people watching, blah, blah, we're not not football, blah, blah, blah, should be banned' etc etc etc ad nauseam...
