stevehone
for starters, why have some people mentioned how well riders did in the British Final for inclusion in the SWC team?? Wolves and KL are chalk and cheese, have the British Final at KIngs Lynn and get a proper look at who can perform there!! with the SWC this year, surely the priority should be qualifying for another meeting .. with it against Australia you can count them out as winners, but the others are USA and Italy, they are the two to beat. people going on about who to use at KL .. well for me, i'd go Woffinden, King, Lambert, Cook. Hancock aside they should have the beating of USA and Italy once on the Polish track, then maybe go for Harris over Lambert with his GP experience

Star Lady
Probably the strongest team we could have put out so absolutely no excuses if they don't get thro. Totally uninspiring tho
Woz01
Team for King's Lynn confirmed as Woffinden Harris Stead King Cook as reserve I thought Rosco would pick Cook but this would be close to the 4 id pick and the 4 suit the bigger tracks better than the rest. The race off is certainly winnable.
phillipsr
Best team avaliable. Cook proved on Sat on a track that suits him that hes not quite up to it
BritPete
No doubt it is the best team, but nevertheless, Stead is a backward step.
pandorum
I bet Italy are terrified of the prospect of meeting King, Harris and Stead The zero I predicted for them seems to be in doubt now. If that is the best we have, and it probably IS, we would have benefitted more by sticking 3 kids in there such as Garrity. Even if we crawl into the PO , which is not certain, what's the point of giving those 3 any track time? If we lose let some kid benefit from the experience rather than three deadbeats who have proven beyond any doubt they are not up to it. We are lucky Russia are in such a mess and we at least have Woffy who will have to carry those three passengers on his back for the entire meeting.. woodenspoon
What a safety first selection, no adventure shown for picking the younger Brits. Apart from Woofy does Rosco seriously expect by picking the same old, that we are going to do anything in this WTC. Far better to have given the young riders a chance, just to get the experience. I am very disappointed in this team selection.
Young51
To Quote the classic Who track Won't get fooled again..'Meet the new boss, same as the old boss'.. Simon Stead for SWC?Aye,good one Rosco..

Daniel Smith
Anyone missing Rob Lyon as GO boss yet? The only manager we've had that had his eye on the future yet it wasn't what the BSPA wanted so he quit. Other than Rob they've all been the same, picking their mates and that's what it is at the end of the day

Other than Rob they've all been the same, picking their mates and that's what it is at the end of the dayRossiter has a chance a bit like our football side to look to the future and rebuild take a different route and to be fair Lyon would of done it has he Rossiter the courage does he believe in it? i don't know.I don't think he will,he is more worried about the short term results and how it might look on his cv.We all know its a tough job, no one exspects much i certainly don't but to be honest it does look a same old same old squad. For me Tai should be the only place filled, the rest are all of a muchness, even Cook has been inconsistent and his record at King,s Lynn not great either. If Nicholls could of been persuaded he is the only certain member i would have alongside Tai, and if i had a punt i would give Lambert and Lawson exsperience at that level.

markyb
whoops ! Time for Mr Cook to throw his teddy out of the pram again. However on his showing in the GP on Saturday am not surprised he has been left out of the team proper.
Woz01
And Harris has been showing that all season... But never disappoints in the SWC. We have half a chance to make a final here we should pick our best side available, that easily includes Bomber. His recent league form has been better than any other Brit apart from Tai. That includes the continent too scored 11 in Sweden and 9 in Poland in the last week. People shouldnt just look at GP form especially when picking a GB side.
Bagpuss
Surprised at Stead, thought Cook would be a shoe in. Think the others pick themselves but as somebody said its all a bit uninspiring. Should be finishing second at the very least in event one. acef
I actually agree that stead is the best option, you have a team there that can ride bigger tracks and that's exactly what we needed. We should get to the play-off, at which point we can say goodnight. Seems Bridger is suggesting he may quit.

Mark
Surprised with the team, thought Cook would get a ride, but on Saturday's performance Rosco could be right. Lts get behind the team and manager.
