foamfence
for me ideally woffy harris cook nicholls...???? king/barker/lewis/kennet wouldnt touch with a barge pole whilst this "give youngsters a go", i dont feel our youngsters are in the same class as the young denmark contingent, and i see nothing gaained by anyone, being 40yrds off the pace. id ALWAYS go with riders that can compete In that case Woffy might as well go alone.

Woz01
He didnt last year!!!! Harris needs to go. He got 19 points in 11 rides. 12 at Kings Lynn and 7 in Prague thats not too shabby. If we had 2 other riders that scored what Harris did we couldve made the final. Edited June 21, 2014 by woz01
mdmc82
Cook really struggling in qualifier today 0,0,0,0,
Mr Blobby
Cook really struggling in qualifier today 0,0,0,0,1 Kind of expected it only took one bike over with him riding against some good riders on the European circuit. Also it's the first time he has rode outside the UK. But hopefully he will learn from this and it will show him what level he will need to perform at if he wants to ride abroad next year. NickRushbrook
Richard Lawson should be considered for the squad imo. Maybe a bit soon for the main 4 but like Craig Cook is learning very fast and definitely has something there.
OveFundinFan
Has'nt Craig Cook just qualified as #16 for the Cardiff GP. Does'nt that qualify him for a position in the GB team.

Not avery professional approach if you really want to be a GP rider, after all he was only 10 races away from his dream

HenryW
Then maybe he's not ready for the SWC then!As an Edinburgh fan, I am obviously a big fan of Cookie as well...However, I have to agree with you in some ways. If the comment about 1 bike is true, he isn't doing himself any favours by not giving this meeting everything that he has to offer. I was actually surprised that he was racing for Edinburgh on Friday with this meeting the next day. I honestly didn't expect him to be contending for a qualification place this year, but this is exactly the sort of meeting that foreign clubs would be looking at when considering whether to offer him a team place...1 bike and 1 point isn't going to have any teams asking him to race for them, and he needs to be racing outside of the UK to advance his career.
Mr Blobby
Just passing on what I've been told but It doesn't like something Craig would do I think people were putting 2 + 2 together and getting 5 as he only had the one bike with him on Friday

screm
Woffinden and Harris are nailed on, after that you can choose any two from Worrall, Cook, Bridger, King, Barker, Kennett etc. Its a pity Scott Nicholls isn't available as he would be in the team.
Bagpuss
It has to be horses for courses and to that end you can pretty much rule out Kennett & Bridger round Lynn. Worrall has had a disappointing season so far and although he did reasonably well at the NA on Wednesday I think Barker and particularly King would be stronger. Cook has to be in after his paid 12 for Belle Vue. Edited June 22, 2014 by Gordon Bennett
Daniel Smith
Woffinden Harris King Cook Take the GB under-21's also Howarth Ellis Garrity Lambert Then at least they'll get to rip round on practice days (providing we get past King's Lynn). We need to start looking forward much earlier rather than keep going back to rider's that year on year go no further forward only backwards
Trees
Read that Cookie has been getting some set up advice off Nicholls, he rode well at Lynn this time so Scott has done him some good!
