Ghostwalker
Is this the same track that the likes of olle nygren rode at, or is it a newer venue. This track was opened in 1970 I think Varg Olle might have ridden a few years at this track but not for the majority of his career. pandorum
Don't wanna talk about the match but it's so funny when we get heats with riders with Polish names and Sam ends up mixing them up. And the pair of them don't seem to know the basic rules of the sport. Funny as Sam was World Champion

Iwan
Maybe Ghostwalker can explain some more about the choice for a R/R instead of Mellgren?

Ghostwalker
what happened to the original track. I don't think they had a track in Norrköping before this one, they used the track in Eskilstuna and Linköping as their home tracks., At least as far as I can understand from a quick reading of Vargarna's history at their website. next week they will show Indianerna-Dackarna and I think that could be very interesting as Sannahed is a very good track. Chris Hutcheson
My favorite moment was when Sam called Oliver Berntzon "Oliver Zinski" in heat 15 while chasing down Miedzinski. I thought Sam was there to correct Jack, but it seems Jack's ways are infiltrating Sam's mind. Or Jack commenting that "the two Zinski's are leading the race" in heat 3. blueherb777
I gave up watching after a few heats. Could not stand listening to pinky and perky. And I thought our crowds were poor? Did the crowd come thinking they were going to Speedway or a big picnic?
Ghostwalker
I gave up watching after a few heats. Could not stand listening to pinky and perky. And I thought our crowds were poor? Did the crowd come thinking they were going to Speedway or a big picnic? They had a rain off two weeks ago, the meeting was moved to yesterday, with poor attendance as well. Vargarna lost that meeting so I assume that many stayed home for that reason.Indianerna had 3200 tonight. though. Spectators statistics; http://ta.svemo.se/Public/Pages/Serie/Audience/AudienceStatistics.aspx?SerieId=590 average so far is just short of 2500. racers and royals
Just watched it-happy to fast forward between heats-more I see of Oliver Bertnzon the more I`m impressed. Hopefully c more won`t be back to Norrkoping in a hurry. Hope you all made the most of Jack tonight-at the end he definitely sounded as if he was saying goodbye to the Swedish league coverage. Shaledodger
I don't think they had a track in Norrköping before this one, they used the track in Eskilstuna and Linköping as their home tracks., At least as far as I can understand from a quick reading of Vargarna's history at their website. As I understand it, the first Norrköping track was at Dagsbergsfaltet which operated from 1945 until 1963 or 1964. There was also a track at Rossangen in 1949 which may have run into the early 1950s. The present track was opened in 1970 and was known originally as Krakvilan or Kungsangen. If any of this information is wrong, I am happy to stand corrected. SteveLyric2
Whilst one might forgive some of the foreign pronunciations, Jack was still calling certain races wrong as he confused red with blue!! Are they not watching the same pictures/captions that the viewers are???
pandorum
The man is hopeless and sticking him with someone whose brain is half a sentence behind his mouth is asking for calamity but they are entertaining and were the only thing about last night worth staying tuned for. I laughed my ass off listening to him and Sam. Especially when there were two Poles in a race and Sam mixed up their names and his Vazulic was a cracker. One of the most entertaining things on Eurosport they should have their own show where they have to commentate on a Polish meeting Whilst one might forgive some of the foreign pronunciations, Jack was still calling certain races wrong as he confused red with blue!! Are they not watching the same pictures/captions that the viewers are??? Did he not at one stage say 'the rider in blue with the red helmet'? racers and royals
When are they going to get a commentator who knows what he is talking about. Sam is forever correcting him. Next week-will tell you who it is next Tuesday
