cityrebel
With the British final and the World Cup on TV, I can see there is absolutely no interest in this meeting. There is not even a review on the kings website. Will the last person that leaves the stadium please turn the lights out!

Well they did say they didn’t want anything to do with this forum (even though it’s free advertising?) so perhaps they have taken the same view with their own website lol  …there is a slight chance of a small rain shower during the day, and a woman 20 miles away sneezed yesterday so this may get called off!  I’m sure that one fan that usually goes wont be disappointed at wasting his time! Their own Kings' Facebook forum also details the event.
greyhoundp
I have heard, the Kings promotion are using jungle drums as opposed to the internet for promotional purposes..

Well they seem active enough on two Facebook sites. Coverage and photos from the NL Pairs at Mildenhall today are there, plus the scorers. It is also on a Facebook forum. Surely no complaints now?  The BBC Weather forecast also looks fairly good - so it's business as usual at Central Park IMO. http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/2637802 Edited June 16, 2014 by Guest
Bryn
Methinks you're banging your head against a brick wall "Gustix" as some people who post on the BSF seem to me to do so solely to moan/whinge about anything they can! Guess they must get their kicks from doing so! Edited June 16, 2014 by Bryn

Guess they must get their kicks from doing so! Â I tend to agree Bryn. There are certain tendencies by BSF posters: what you describe is only one of them. There's also the "delight" others have in seemingly locking on to one individual then hounding and criticising them constantly. Aside for that, let's hope it is no very much back to normal happening for Kent Kings at Central Park.
Old Crusader
Considering the Demons line-up and the fact that we have Ben and Simon, this looks as though it should be a comfortable win for the Kings. Famous last words?
whistlegang
Should be a comfortable (but at times competitive) victory. I predict a cracking race between Ayres and Shanes.....

Kent Whistle Gang
There'll be some interesting match ups tonight. Looking forward to seeing James Shanes again, who is now, unsurprisingly, in the main body of the team. Brendan Johnson must have ridden Central Park more times than Benji Compton, this season! Matt Bates (wouldn't read too much into his paid 12 points haul last time out - it was at home against Scunthorpe after all) and Danny Stoneman (surely the most stylish-looking rider in the National League) will be good for a few points. Â Kings to win by at least 12 points. Â Oh, by the way, please don't give us updates from the British Final! Come on Stevie Boxall!!!!!!! Heathen1984
By watching Danny stoneman on Saturday, he will be good for 0 points. Looked very slow.

Matt Bates, was very competitive in the meeting against Cradley, the best i have ever seen him ride, Danny Stoneman is a one trick pony, same line lap after lap, and on saturday on a very slow bike. James Shanes was the pick of the Demons riders and looks to have a decent future ahead. My observations were from the Cradley meeting on saturday, if Matt can reproduce that form, there should be some good racing.
Dave Stummings
Well I won't be making the trip down the A2 from work to see what had the makings of a great Monday night out last year. With a crap track thats just not improved, presentation that's decidly iffy (non exsistant) I'll stay at home and watch the British Final on tele and save my coppers. Sorry Kent but until improvements are made I think you've seen the last of me this season. Edited June 16, 2014 by Dave Stummings
waco
Bit of a stroll in the park for the Kings facing a side weakened by retirements from the sport by their two strongest riders ,,Plymouth need to strengthen up but can they,? are the riders available to do it ? its dougbtfull ? Kings cantered home to a 64-28,victory ,despite some spirited performances from Brendon Johnson and in particular James Shanes ,who when he learns to gate could become a very good rider as he really goes into the corners with plenty of motor on ,i was impressed, ,,, Good nights for Simon Lambert 15 point max David Mason paid 15 point max,,Ben Morley locked up on the first bend in his first ride but was solid after that,, though i have seen him sharper round here 9+1.. ..Arron Basby and Luke Chessel both had good nights ,9+1 and 9 +2 respectively ..Danny Ayers and Luke Harris continue to make progress and had their moments tonight 5 and 4+2 respectively Not to much should be read into this result as only Scunthorpe are likely to provide weaker opposition ,Next week will be a totally different scenario when the kings Lynn outfit hit town... Guest
Very much business as usual. Result is up on both the Kent Kings website and one Facebook group. No complaints there. I am certain the report will appear by the morning. And what a resounding scoreline it was in Kings favour?
