Falcon Hammer
I believe so, with Ben Barker lined up as a guest ... Many thanks Mjolnir. Guess it is better for Lewis, he would be knackered otherwise - Good luck Lewis
weatherwatcher
I think we would have done far better keeping hold of Perry. Why get shut of a reserve who was regulary scoring 6 points and over a meeting to be replaced by Bates who has not yet scored 6 points full stop. Mjolnir
Many thanks Mjolnir. I'm really looking forward to seeing him and Richard in the British Final on Monday, if they have a good night I think both could have much more of an impact than most people probably expect! I think from the moment he had won the under 21 at Cov and then beat Bjerre at BP in the world under 21 at BP Leicester wanted him but he could only replace Perry. I do hope all these changes work because I for 1 can't stand anymore moaning. Meetings don't seem to get discussed anymore only track, reserves and absent riders
Shale Searcher
I think that Perry had reached his level with Leicester, he is one of the more mature FTDR riders, and doubt he was going to get any better... Max and now Josh have a great deal of potential, and will show regular improvement, and are probably likely to stay in Speedway, Josh is carrying an injury at the moment, and Lakeside is a tough track to race on when not 100%, you're always on the move on the bike, turning hard and wrestling it... In my opinion.

E I Addio
Certainly not the impression Ben Morley gives when riding the track - he seems to be in an armchair - ultra smooth! TBF Stuart Robson used to say that Lakeside was the most physically demanding track in the EL, although Ben has good throttle control which makes it seem easier. I did get the impression that Josh Bates was one of the open the throttle and hang on types and that led to his close inspection of the air fence.
