Woz01
We really do miss Garrity when he is missing but at least are firmly in the play off chase.
Bee 26
Looking at the picture on Holders twitter I would say its a broken wrist, says he'll be back in 4 weeks!
mdmc82
We really do miss Garrity when he is missing but at least are firmly in the play off chase. I agree. Garrity would have been capable of beating most of Pooles riders. Hope we won't miss him too much more as he's our secret weapon
Dadey
Well done bees last night 2 more points towards the play offs, but against what was a 3 Man Poole team we should be getting the full 3 points. Good to see bomber looking really quick again but for the 2nd meeting in a row why wasn't hans in heat 15?

Woz01
Id get Charles Wright in to guest for Garrity then, always seems to do a decent job when guesting in the EL.
SteveLyric2
Was it a decent crowd?? Or did the footie/guests reduce attendance?
wealdstone
Â Â Its a new rule. Instant RR for injuries. Thanks I was not aware of that. Â Was it a decent crowd?? Or did the footie/guests reduce attendance? Crowd seemed reasonable, car park looked fuller than I have seen it in a long long time. The Voice Of Reason
Pretty decent meeting but as stated, actual passing was at a premium. Not really sure why as the track looked good enough to me - more riders going around the outside lines than my last couple of visits. Also , one heck of a lot of drive coming out of the second bend - I think every rider lifted at least once throughout the meeting. Also, there must be a rut (or something) on the 4th bend at Brandon - 3 riders got totally out of shape last night chasing the outside line. Â Harris rode his gonads off for the cause but Ward looked untouchable. Maybe that's why Havvy put MJJ out in Heat 15 - have to say I was a little surprised. And for his stalker on this forum, based upon what I've seen so far, MJJ is a good rider; I can't really say much else. He certainly doesn't appear to be the messiah that you make him out to be. In my book, he's a typical Danish 'Start Tart'. Speaking of tarts, what was Middleditch thinking putting Hopwood out (to replace Nermark) instead of Newman in Heat 6? Â Gate looked pretty good but have to say, there wasn't much noise or atmosphere last night. I stand on the second bend and there wasn't much cheering; particularly given the opposition? Â Overall not a bad night. Spoilt only by a cup of tea that I bought with lumpy UHT milk. It doesn't really take much savvy to know that you don't leave cartons of milk out in the hot sun does it? Â Finally, as a neutral (with a Cov bias ) Bees......you really have got to stop chucking these odd home points away in your own back yard.

Getting Hopwood's rides out of the way early (except for heat 9 obviously) so Newman could be used in the more crucial later heats if we were in with a chance of a point or more! mdmc82
Another great crowd. Has been the same most of the season. Was a lot of noise in the stands although agree quieter than last time. Didn't see many Poole fans. Â Horton mentioned there should be a meeting next Friday 27th. Just waiting to find out if against Eastbourne or Birmingham

The Voice Of Reason
Hopwood had two ducks to his name before he came in for a reserve ride for the injured Nermark; and his 3rd ride would have been utilised in Heat 9. Â Newman was on 4 (+1) from his first two rides at that stage. Â From my point of view, it was a no-brainer who to replace Nermark with. Â Added to which if you'd have seen Hopwood ride last night, it's clearly evident that the poor sod was totally out of his depth at this level. Â Your beloved Middleditch cocked it up - get over it. Disagree far better to let Hopwood go in a race Newman had no chance of a point and keep him fresh for the next race, he would almost certainly trailed in at the back anyway, Newman only beat reserves in his previous races. The Voice Of Reason
Keep him fresh? Â What a load of utter cods wallop. Even Shovlar would be proud of that one. Â Newman may have scored his points against reserves, but Hopwood couldn't even achieve that accolade. By the end of his races, he was a good 80-100 yards adrift.
P T Preece
I was there last night, Ward was bloody awesome, playing with Harris in there heats together, world class act. Good crowd, track a bit dusty, could have done with some water. You still keeping dropping the odd point at home, its not really helping you in the long run. Didn't think he was playing with Harris and think if Ward hadn't been allowed to get away with a flyer then Harris may have won heat 11 as Ward only just beat him on the line  Agree that we need to stop dropping points at home (although did miss Garrity) however at the moment we have 2nd best away form in league with good wins at Swindon, Poole & Leicester and that was before we strengthened. Bee 26
Should have collected all 3 points last night seeming Poole's guests hardly scored much, would have been in trouble if Pawlicki and Magic were riding. Â Hopefully we can get something from Swindon on Thursday to make up for the dropped points at home
