Star Lady
As this is off due to road closures I wonder if Buster has a claim against the council for loss of business lol
Mimmo
What's not clear is whether the meetings on the 18th, 26th June & 2nd, 4th July are going to take place either then, as the roads that have affected the meeting against Mildenhall, who would have been coming the easier way compared to the other scheduled teams, are going to suffer the same road closures, as they don't finish until the 7th July. If that is the case, which one would imagine it must be, then Buster must have a good case against the council. What about the Stock Cars too, Keith could be absolutely thousands of pounds out of pocket if the stadium does have to stand empty all that time. Oh dear, not good for him, the supporters or competitors. Damn shame cos although we were without James Cockle tomorrow, and were also using Tony Atkin as a guest, the meeting would have brought in a good crowd with the usual enthusiastic Fen Tigers following. Plus they were using Simon Lambert as a guest, and he always brings a lot of family and friends along.
Star Lady
lt says on the KL website that because the dual carriageway will be closed that day, if there was a serious incident the emergency services could be compromised. If correct it makes sense. Apparently this will not apply to other meetings as the dual carriageway will only be closed completely on three occasions.

semion
If the Saddlebow Road junction is closed, how are firms on the estate trading ?
NeilWatson
If the Saddlebow Road junction is closed, how are firms on the estate trading ? Looks like evening/overnight closures with diversions http://www.highways.gov.uk/roads/road-projects/a47-kings-lynn-bypass-rewaterproofing-resurfacing/ As 'Star Lady' says, there is a safety issue for speedway racing with the hospital being the other side of the closure.
