Haza
Its only practise so there is no reason for Zagar to miss the meeting in my opinion. Harris missed the Czech GP practise but it was still Bombers best GP this season ^ ok let's put another way say Zagar was to ride at Brandon tonight meeting finnishes 9-30 ish I've no idea were he lives in the UK to no if it would be possible for him to return home or not or go straight to an airport either way he has a early start to Saturday I no Ryanair fly to Sweden cus I've used the service myself think it's around a 6am flight so Zagar is on the plane maybe catch some sleep once in Sweden he's a near on 3 hour car / van journey to Malilla ahead of the GP - the other way which Zagar has chosen to do is I'd guess fly out today do practice sort an issues he may have with his bike relax after practice get a decent nights sleep Saturday all day he's time to do chill before the meeting now which would you do if you had a chance to be world champion ? Take the Harris route ?as I say he's just making the numbers up in the GPS he wouldn't want to miss a Bees meeting as it's his bread and butter .

Looking forward to this being as I couldn't get there last week and hoping Coventry get all the points available. Coventry --------------------- Hans Andersen Kyle Howarth Michael Jepsen Jensen Kenneth Hansen Chris Harris Jason Garrity James Sarjeant Belle Vue -------------------- R/R for Zagar Richie Worrall Scott Nicholls Michael Palm Toft Danny King (G) Stefan Nielsen Lee Payne

SCB
Why was Sarjeant not excluded for touching the tapes. I wondered that.
Jacques
I wondered that. Wasn't there something new about it having to be part of the bike, or did I dream it?
SCB
Wasn't there something new about it having to be part of the bike, or did I dream it? The rule in British speedway has always been the bike. FIM is the bike order rider. But he caught the tapes with his wheel first - maybe the ref didn't think so and he got lucky. Sarjeant cleans up one of the BV riders on the first bend and its A4B again. Ref needs to stop watching Spain v Netherlands and start doing his job correctly TBF, that was as all 4 back as all 4 back gets. If Sarjeant had shut off when Nielsen leaned on him he'd have not turned and would have just run into Nielsen. What ever he did was going to result in a crash. ouch
It's a shame you can't bottle Belle Vue's luck as we could then rub it on evil dictators or England's World Cup opponents and the like then sit back and enjoy.
Woz01
Wasnt there tonight but it seems like a decent debut for MJJ. Good win for the Bees.
stevebrum
The Bees should have got 60 tonight with that sort of Aces line up! A steady 9 from 5 from MJJ. Nothing special like Kildermand.
Jacques
The Bees should have got 60 tonight with that sort of Aces line up! A steady 9 from 5 from MJJ. Nothing special like Kildermand. It's Kildemand. It's the first meeting for MJJ. So I'm relatively happy. I don't think he'll struggle. I just question his commitment and that will come to pass. I watched the 365 stream and not the best of meetings passing wise. I'm chuffed with the result Heat 13 was great, so was the celebration afterwards Proof that the team spirit is alive and kicking! I know Chris Simpson wasn't there tonight, but you could hear the music ( I was singing along) and you could sense the change in atmosphere, even off the stream... SCB
It's Kildemand. It's all irrelevant. It's stevebrum once again goading KKS who he'll then go on to call childish. Kildemand was an 8.2 rider. MJJ is a 6.5 rider. Any team would be happy with a 6.5 rider scoring 9+1 on his debut against a team that contained a rider who has called Brandon home more than any other rider other than Bomber the last 10 years(Scotty) and track specialist Danny King. He only lost to King when he jumped the start in heats 3 and 15 too.

speedybee
Great atmosphere tonight, another good crowd. Shame the racing didn't really measure up, heat 13 aside..
mdmc82
Firstly it was good to see Sarj & Stefan walk away from that crash. was a horrible looking crash. Great team effort from the bees. Garrity was outstanding at Reserve. Heat 13 ride by Hans and Harris was the race of the season. Good debut by MJJ who tried hard The atmosphere in the stadium is one of the best it has been in a long time and great to hear the crowd roar was good to see Nicholls. King was a good guest for Belle Vue but they had no back up
