ProudtobeaBrummie
No confirmed line ups yet expect both teams to be full strengh though with zmaralilk riding no1 again... Brummies to win by 8 starke and lambert to score 5+ each ....pressure on barker to score big points 8+ required for BB
waiheke1
Aces really need a win here if they are to push for play off places. Im going to say aces by two, first away win of the season

stevebrum
Should be an easy home win unless the Aces can actually perform away from home. They did it at Wolves but have been dire since.

Have to agree here Stevebrum, for some daft reason we always go missing away from Kirky Lane.

BELLE VUE: Matej Zagar, Richie Worrall, Scott Nicholls, Michael Palm Toft, Craig Cook, Lee Payne, Stefan Nielsen.
lionheart
The big question is, can Zagar win heat
Rob B
Have to agree here Stevebrum, for some daft reason we always go missing away from Kirky Lane. Our away form been poor, not helped by the fact that in the 9 away meetings we had we only had our full 1-7 in couple of them. Partly our fault though by signing Cook as heatleader but doubling up. Brummie Kev
Oh my god, an Elite League match with two full strength teams, surely that cant be right?. Are we sure there isn't a secret Polish Championship Meeting somewhere. Hope its a good match, always love watching a class act like Zagar who went very well at PB last year. Also it will be good to see a full match from Bartek, hoping he can carry on from his impressive second ride against the Robins last week.
The Pedaler
it will be good to see a full match from Bartek Your last chance to do so too if his contract runs out at the end of the month. He'll have three away fixtures too this month, and will be bound to be impressed with British speedway and all it has to offer, if he's thinking about riding here full time, with Eastbourne and Belle Vue being two of those three.. P T Preece
Tough one, but think we can edge it, just hope its by 6+ points so we can come away with 3 and climb off the bottom.
andypoll
Aces due a win away from home, but it will be a tough one . Both teams fairly matched so i predict a very close encounter. Fingers crossed for the Aces. #Aces Pride.

Partly our fault though by signing Cook as heatleader but doubling up. Agree Rob, but Cook's away performances this year have been poor. Birmingham being one of his better tracks, and the prospect of the clashes with Ben Barker, Cook may have a better meeting. How things have changed from the start of the season, Birmingham are no longer the pushovers they were, and BV have so far performed well under what the fans expected. Thus said BV are desperate for some away points, to keep their season, and Play-Off hopes alive, should be a close one.

I don't know why it should be, but it seems that every rider, once they arrive at the Vue , seem to lose the will to win. We have seen this with many riders over several seasons. This season seems to be just the same. As his performances in the GPs goes up, Zagars performances for BV go down. Cook has spent too long in the PL, and his general standard in the EL has fallen. Richie Worrall was in many ways the great white hope for BV but is a major disappointment. MPT is doing more than a decent job where he is in the team. The only rider bucking the trend of "Lets sign for BV, put our feet up and take a rest" is Scott Nicholls. He has enhanced his reputation at Kirky Lane, and I shudder to think how the team would have panned out, without his efforts.

david2905
TBH Cook seems to be going the same way as Barker, stagnating D/U rider who seem incapable/unwilling of making the step up to full time EL and riding abroad.
