SCB
So that implies you think he is getting the best from his riders and is fostering a great team spirit. Three home defeats . I'll remain child like and rest my case TBF, "Roscos riders" scored 46 tonight. If he had "his rider" North at number 2 who would have been good for 6 so Swindon would have scored 52. He's turned "his rider" Simon Gustafsson season from struggling to (and not always) beating draft riders to scoring maximums in his programmed rides. Yes they now have 3 home loses but have a guest score 0 in one of them meetings and one of the other being your first meeting (which means he'd not had a chance to work with them) has not helped matters. Rosco has won 2 league titles with 2 different teams in the last 5 seasons. His record can't really be argued with.
markyb
Rosco wont be going anywhere, Swindon born and bred, and not a quitter. So if not a quitter, then how did he manage to leave Swindon for Coventry for the 2010 season ? Happy days TBF, "Roscos riders" scored 46 tonight. If he had "his rider" North at number 2 who would have been good for 6 so Swindon would have scored 52. He's turned "his rider" Simon Gustafsson season from struggling to (and not always) beating draft riders to scoring maximums in his programmed rides. I had believed that Kildemand and Morris were also "his riders" - well he done something to upset them both for the scores they rewarding him with at present. stevebrum
You must be mad expecting Wolves to win When was the last time they won at Blunsdon? Tonight. Pathetic just Pathetic who on earth decided that Bellego would be guesting. Season is over! Woeful from the first meeting of the season and still pathetic now 3rd Home defeat. A win and Woffy not winning a race. You haven't slated him yet. Must be still taking in the shock. What a comeback, now that is the sort of news i`m happy to read after a day like today. As i said before, just don't know what to expect from this Wolves side this season!

BluPanther
Crucial loss for the Robins, with no Dakota and the iffy double points rule key factors. However, Wolves are a decent team, and when Tai gets back to his best they will be in the mix for the Play off's...
van wolfswinkel
Tonight. A win and Woffy not winning a race. You haven't slated him yet. Must be still taking in the shock. What a comeback, now that is the sort of news i`m happy to read after a day like today. As i said before, just don't know what to expect from this Wolves side this season! Also said wouldn't be surprised if Wolves win tonight against this poor Robins team. Mind you after being 14 ahead it was a big surprise! Swindon have hammered BV twice at home this year, but struggled against everyone else.
Star Lady
Ok Troy But its ok to lose them all then. Run along to your gps then Troy Batchelor #75 @batchattack1 37m Shame we Lost tonight thought we had that .. Can't win em all ... Cóuld have done with @dakota_north tonight tho Great team spirit been fostered there What ? Swindon lost a meeting it happens they are not a great team this year ...how on earth can comment about team spirit when your not even anywhere near the pits ..as I said just a silly comment My comment was based on observations watching Swindon on TV this season. I've seen no evidence of team spirit at all. TBF, "Roscos riders" scored 46 tonight. If he had "his rider" North at number 2 who would have been good for 6 so Swindon would have scored 52. He's turned "his rider" Simon Gustafsson season from struggling to (and not always) beating draft riders to scoring maximums in his programmed rides. Rosco has won 2 league titles with 2 different teams in the last 5 seasons. His record can't really be argued with. Didn't argue with his record but his success with the riders he has this year. Batchelor doesn't care about us let him p*ss off to the GP'S and Poland whilst we watch him struggle Agreed. So if not a quitter, then how did he manage to leave Swindon for Coventry for the 2010 season ? Happy days I had believed that Kildemand and Morris were also "his riders" - well he done something to upset them both for the scores they rewarding him with at present. I'm not the only one that can see that then Orion you are more than entitled to your opinion. I'm entitled to mine. Over the years I've come to recognise a good team spirit when I see one and I haven't seen a sniff of one at Swindon this year. Simply a team of individuals who focus on their own performance only. stevebrum
Not really I said if Woffy turns up then it could be goodnight Vienna. Fair play to you guys everyone played there part tonight tactical ride or not you deserved to win. So tell me did Woffy `turn up?` 7 points and no wins suggests in your language he didn't do his job. In other news the TEAM won tonight, not 1 man.
stevebrum
Of course Woffy did do his job 7+1 on a 7.97 average so tonight it is job well done and yes from 1-7 every rider chipped in. That`s great news, so it will only be when he scores 6 that you might criticise him then!
stevebrum
tbf stevebrum Woffy beat our top 3. I am only being fair steve fair enough I might get ahead of myself sometimes but I do post some good stuff but I also post some bull lol Well fair play for saying that. Many believe there own rubbish!
van wolfswinkel
I will be cheering Tai on in Cardiff but the world champion shouldn't be scoring 7 and finishing last, and should be top of the averages(not even in top 10). Incredibly Wolves only won 6 heats. Full credit to Gusto with 4 heat wins out of 5, and the double points rule swung the meeting Wolves way. Jacobs is a very good reserve.
theblueboy
Interestingly the speedway family seem to think:- team spirit is something you can determine by watching a tv screen. The GB manager cannot motivate, however, the man who was on the point of being replaced top scores in 3 of the last 4 meetings and is 2nd top scorer in the other. Morris is not improving. Nick Morris 28 121 190 37 6.28 7.50 Nick Morris 12 49 75 15 6.12 7.35 I suggest a lot of people on this site have no concept of sport and how momentum affects games. Wolves were woeful for 9 heats. Trapping boots appear and Swindon are on the back foot. Shades of Peterborough 2 seasons ago when Houggard mopped up at reserve. Lets credit Wolves for their effort and determination to stay in the match and turn it around rather than blaming Rosco and 'team spirit'

Wolves did look dead and buried after 9 heats. Morra was on 5-1 when engine failed. Could have done with Doyley and Steady there tonight. Wolves were gating much better in the last 6 heats, and it was near impossible to pass at Blunsdon tonight. We don't know what goes on behind the scenes with riders payments etc., Edited June 12, 2014 by Whiplash Willie
SCB
So if not a quitter, then how did he manage to leave Swindon for Coventry for the 2010 season ? Happy days I had believed that Kildemand and Morris were also "his riders" - well he done something to upset them both for the scores they rewarding him with at present. So Kildemand having a bad meeting is all Roscos fault? Even a few bad meeting, all Roscos fault? So I guess Peter Adams is crap because Waoffy has been crap all year and Middlo is crap because Holder had more bad than good meetings? And Vatcher should quit because PK has dropped a point and a half off his average. As for Nick Morris, he's having an awesome season tbf to him. Signed on a sub 6 point average as a heatleader and now averaging about 6.5. He's doing far better than anyone could have predicted. Don't forget he no longer gets to rider against reserves and only twice against second strings. He's never even had the chance to ride as a heatleader in the old, easier format so fair play to him and thus Rosco for showing faith in him and getting the best out of him as he's not exactly having a great season for Somerset. A ORLOV
An awful second half of the meeting for Swindon. PK did well in his first two rides but then had issues in the last two, his scores seem to have been going down recently since the start of his meetings in Denmark and Sweden. Bellego was an awful guest. Simon was the best of the Swindon riders and has improved over the past few weeks. Very good night with 4 wins. Steve did ok apart from the heats at the end where he was asleep at the gate. Nathan had his best night so far this season and is still trying to get his bikes sorted. Nick is doing all that is expected of him in a heat leader role. Wolves came back, starting with the 8-1 in heat 10 followed by two 5-1s in 12 and 13 with our riders slow away from the gate in the later part of the meeting. A good win for Wolves. Strange that, previous night at Lynn, Woffy scored 6+2 and was pillared by all and sundry, for a sub par performance, a night later at Swindon , he scores 7+1 and done a good job. Please explain to me the difference . Another home defeat for Swindon, I wait and see, who Rosco will publically criticise next ..........
thecoombdog
There is a lot of sh1te posted on here. People questioning Rosco are idiots. League winners and play off semi finalists in last 2 years. Questioning Killer is stupid. 4 point reserve to 8.50 number 1 in 2 years. Every number 1 in the league is having a dodgy meeting or 2 this year. The bloke is class. Let me guess. Eddie Kennett in as a replacement. Morris has upped his average when his set of rides is a lot harder this year. We were stitched up by the stupid draft thing when Bates joined Sheffield and that cost us. Not gonna be our year. So what. Who else except for Poole is up there every year.
