Woz01
Missed Garrity big time tonight, wouldve been a much more comfortable victory otherwise. Hansen and Bomber rode well tonight and Fisher put in a good perforfmance in his last meeting for the Bees.
SCB
As of tonight Harris' average with bonus points is now higher than Hans'. After all the stick Harris has got this season can we expect Hans to get some stick now too? Especially as Bomber is riding in the harder #5 position (every one of his heats he has a heatleader team mate, the other two heatleaders get 2 heats with a second string). mdmc82
Well done Bees! Without Garrity but our top riders stepped up. Harris & Hansen were brilliant to watch tonight and much better night for Fisher. Was impressed with Thorsell who was really fast. Disappointed with Tai who usually rides Brandon well but looked a different rider to GPs. Piotr had a poor night and really let himself down with his dirty move in heat 15 when he fenced Harris. Hope Howarth is okay after his crash tonight Much better atmosphere tonight and good crowd again Wheres Flyin Ryan going ? Hes been replaced by MJJ. He got a great reception from fans tonight and had a good meeting. He will still ride for Peterborough Edited June 6, 2014 by mdmc82

TheSmiler
Great meeting. Fantastic riding from Hansen, Fisher and Harris. Well done guys. A lot of people had Wolves to win so a good result. Another point dropped at home however cancels out another away point gained. Bees: Andersen - isn't at his best. Only really gating to score points. Fisher - great performance and great reception for him. Was nice to speak to him after the meeting. He'll be back Hansen - the guy is Coventry through and through already. Amazing riding now the track is better. He was smiling all round after the meeting. Howarth - seemed to be quite slow before his crash. Would've given us all 3 points if he wasn't injured. Hope he's ok. Harris - where has this form come from? Gating, passing. Brilliant. Man of the match. Long may this continue. Lambert - more than did his job. Top guest. Sarjeant - is he still concussed? Seemed to be very disorientated. For the Wolves - Thorssell was superb but that was about it with some sort of back up from Proctor and Wells. Piotr was awful, his move in heat 15 was horrid. Don't think it was meant dirty though. Woffinden looks absolutely exhausted. He came out the pits to his van very serious faced. I am wondering if his worse bikes are here though as his form is fine everywhere other than wolves. Onto next week and the return of Scotty and debut of MJJ. Don't put too much pressure on the new dane. Give him time to settle in. However, Hansen can rest easy with easier heats at #4 now, Keep the faith.
stevebrum
Ludicrous. Most heatleaders, including number 1s, have dropped their sverage this year. Why would wolves wsnt to ditch pawlicki for lindgren? why would the world champ deliberately underperform. Why not bring lindgren in now if thsts the plan, likeky need a diuble swap anywsy? By the time tai has aversge low enough to bring lindgren in for pawlicki (assuming single change) play off chsnces will be gone do the point would be? Of course its a ludicrous suggestion in the first place. Some posters just cant help themselves trying to troll.
LagutaRacingFan
MJJ doesn't need time to settle in, He is better than anyone in the Bees side and by a mile.
mdmc82
I usually love watching Tai at Brandon but have to say this is the worst I have seen him ride. Not sure what is the problem? Maybe taking too much on, poor equipment. I hope he gets it sorted soon. Thorsell definitely Wolves rider of the night. Very fast and has really grown as a rider Bees rider of the night was Bomber (with Hansen a close 2nd) Was in great form and bikes looked very fast
CB252
Pleasantly surprised with that performance. Everyone stepped up and Lambert did us proud. Great ride in 14 to steady the nerves. Looking forward to the saviour arriving next week. Shame Harris, Zagar and Cook will all be missing!
Falcon Hammer
Seems like Mick Horton has got the track sorted as well as splashing out on a world class rider - Play-offs beckon. Hope the crowds come flocking back, and Mick recoups his outlay with a handsome profit Well done Rambo, seems a weight has been lifted off your shoulders after leaving Rye, keep it up son Edited June 6, 2014 by Falcon Hammer

CB252
Depends what Harris and Zagar decide to do about GP practice. Bomber is doing practice, he told a few of us after the match. You've got more chance of Zagar becoming the pope than missing a GP practice for a British League Match!
stevebrum
^ . Your hatred from Day 1 against me is getting boring now tbh. stevebrum all I am saying is check out speedwayresults.com and look at Woffy's scores in Poland and Sweden. Let's not forget Woffy is also joint leader in the world championship title race. Hatred? No idea what you are on about. If you make comments like you do then you are only inviting posters to have a go. Shall we just conveniently forget Woffys scores in the GPs, EL, Sweden and Poland up to about a month ago or doesn't that suit your argument? The Voice Of Reason
Right - opinions of a neutral. Presentation - much slicker and more professional that the debacle I witnessed when Lakeside were there. Quality of racing - 'kin hell - tonight was an utter borefest if I'm brutally honest. For the first seven heats, I don't think that I saw a decent race/pass. Please believe me folks, I'm not digging out Brandon as it's now where I am spending most of my time. But that track tonight, as a RACING circuit, was an utter joke. Fair play, with Colin Pratt back giving his input, things can only get better. However, even with the likes of Wuffy and Pawlicki, it was clearly evident that there were only two racing lines - both inside. Anyone that ventured into the outer racing lines ended up flat on their arse. I think the point was proven by the likes of Thorsell (no disrespect) who's not even a Wolves heat leader, but managed to win his first two races with consummate ease due to the fact he got flyers out the traps. Highlight of the evening for me was seeing Fish going out in a blaze of glory by literally walking his last race for Cov (in 2014 anyway). Best of luck mate - despite the barracking you've received from some on here, you've always given 100% in my book - including your guest appearances for The Hammers. Pawlicki - what were you thinking in Heat 15? Fair play to Bomber for taking it on the chin but that move made novices in the National League look good. Rider of the night - Hansen. A guy that realises that races aren't won by throttle alone. An absolute pleasure to watch and a riding style so reminiscent of one of your fellow countrymen, and an all-time hero of mine, Bo Petersen. Sorry but for a local derby, and despite the excellent crowd (GREAT to see) the atmosphere was pretty pants. And just a word of advice for your track-guys.......there really isn't a lot of point waving your red flag when the riders have passed you by 20+ yards!
mdmc82
Voice of reason : you must have been at a very different meeting to the rest of us. I thought the racing was close and there was alot of passing with different riders winning. One of the best meetings I have seen in a while
BWitcher
Wow, great meeting. Sunshine, large crowd, great track, lots of overtaking, Harris and Hansen at their battling best. The buzz is back at Brandon... (I can hardly believe I'm saying this!) Lots of overtaking?????? My word. After the 2nd turn, the only time there was a pass was when in Heat 9 and when Proctor passed Lambert in Heat 14.. which if he hadn't have done he should have retired. It was race after race of processional racing only kept interesting by the score. Just seen another post saying 'Great meeting'. Seriously, speedway has fallen a long, long way if this is described as great. I've even checked updates to make sure I was at the same meeting.. and yep its the same on there.. after turn 2 there was nothing bar in heats 9 and 14. Edited to add.. I forgot the amazing race when Ashley Morris was in 2nd place ahead of Howarth all the way to entering turn 3 lap 1. Was 10 yards behind after turn 3 mind you. Voice of reason : you must have been at a very different meeting to the rest of us. I thought the racing was close and there was alot of passing with different riders winning. One of the best meetings I have seen in a while Please let me know where all this passing was. 'Different riders' winning is no argument for a great meeting.. Right - opinions of a neutral. Wolfsbane
Bit like your trolling post. Something is still not right with WOFFY i agree. There isn't anything `fishy` going on tho. If 'fishy' = average dropping then it's plainly nonsense. The only change that'd be worth making on that basis would be Fred for Proctor I can't help going back to the early season Sky match. When asked what was wrong with Tai, Adams said 'engines'. 5 minutes later they asked Tai himself pointing out what Adams had said 'not engines' was the reply. Until we're told otherwise the 'best equipment isn't in GB' line would appear to be the most likely explanation. What concerns me is we were all delighted when Ty signed for Sheffield, myself included. Whatever benefits we were expecting haven't materialised, his scores for them are worse than for us. It was asking a lot to expect the 8+ rider to return this season even without the injury.
