Shocked how poor Somerset look so far. Witches have been hot but but Rebels way off the pace.

Thank you Ritchie H for pulling out my number in the 400 club draw - not first prize but cheers anyway fella!!

Now Somerset fans know how it feels to be on the end of a spanking.

Can the Rockets take advantage of a shell shocked Rebels team tomorrow & Saturday? Can they f**k!!!!

Wow, so they nearly all turned up in every heat! Ipswich were good, Somerset poor, and the track superb! Wasn't just gate and go either with some good first bends and some passes after that. Risager's pass of Brady Kurtz in 12 was top drawer. Tungate only one with a max but Manzares and Worrall so close. (Damm you Nick Morris in heat 15) ;)

Should be enough in the return leg but no Worrall or Ellis so.......?

Last year it was around 40 for a score away from home. Now it is the difference! Will be interested in what the excuses are tomorrow? Was looking forward to seeing how we do on the road. Now I'm not. Really really poor show.

Tonight the track was really grippy and Somerset never really got the hang of it .

Great all round performance with everyone scoring well for the Witches !

You never know we might have half a chance of winning over the two legs but the overall result could well depend on the choice's of guests for Richie and Adam and how they perform . We've lost at their place by 40 already this year so anything is possible . Although I hate to say it I don't think this tie is over . I'm sure we can't as bad this time , can we ?

Top effort all round- the sort of result you wish for but never expect to actually happen.

Need to start solid in the return leg so as not to let them get a foothold and feel they have a chance.

Mortens pass was the best of the season so far IMO.

From most of the posts I`ve read it appears that the Rebels were seriously caught out by track conditions. This will not be the case at our place where the track will suit our guys and we will of course be at full strength. As the old saying goes it is only half time.In the last four matches we have hit 60 four times so that bodes well.I remember a couple of ago Scunny stuck 70 on us at their place, we then we hit them for 65 at ours. This does not take away anything from Ippo who have given us our first drubbing for a very long time,We were as poor as you were at our place , and you had 2 tacticals in your 40 point defeat and a full side, it ain`t over until it`s over, already looking forward to it lol.

Gary May not a happy bunny on the Rebels web site.

Return leg for superstitious Ippo fans and riders is Friday 13th..........

Don`t agree WM I think we have done ok on the road so far. We have taken P/Boro, Redcar and Scunny to heat 15, beaten Newcastle and Rye and only lost by more than 6 four times, to Ippo twice. Worky and Plymouth. Not bad imo.
