MD
A positive change, lets make the next one at No1 and try to rescue a really pish season so far.
fred
Thought they might have announced the two changes together. To be fair to Lemon hasnt he been scoring his average lately and good guy to have in the pits? Can understand people wanting Kevin to go and a new number one brought in but would look more at replacing Theo.
MARK DEAN
Mark Lemon was just starting to show improvement. Surely he could be fitted in at somewhere like Redcar, unless Richard Hall is the done deal. Plymouth have just lost Adam Roynon and Rye House have one under perfoming European. Maybe Anton Rosen can also be fitted in. Neither him or Henry deserved to be dropped by Newcastle.
TheScotsman
Nice to see Christian fixed up again. Every little helps. Shame someone has to go but that's the sport.
Weeyin
Feel for Mark as after he found out his back diamond was out of line and it was fixed, he has upped his scoring and top scored at Armadale , he was not our main problem , our heatleaders were. Good point though fixing a No 1 is more expensive and more difficult to find.

screm
Will this bring the curtain down on Lemons racing career, no dis-respect to the guy but its difficult to see some other team taking a gamble. He still has the Aussie team managers job so its not likely he will be lost to the sport, might even get a job as a team manager in one of the leagues over here.
fred
Unreal from one of the Glasgow promoters calling Mark up late last night asking how some areas of the club could be improved then sack him the following day! Paulco
Unreal from one of the Glasgow promoters calling Mark up late last night asking how some areas of the club could be improved then sack him the following day! Speedway promoters seem to possess the brass neck unheard of in other sports . It's not the first time we've heard of a rider completing a meeting for his club , then sacked

Well we don't know all the details , so we're just speculating . How do you know that Mark wasn't told last night and it was all amicable and he was asked for his opinion . Paulco
Juat going by what was on his statement I don't suppose we'll ever know the full details , but the rumours that were sweeping the Armadale terraces on Friday night will not have went unnoticed by the riders , so the whiff of change was there and Lemon must have known he was one of the more vulnerable ones to be a victim of that change . lewy
Lemon should of retired when newcastle released him,and gone out on a high maybe the penny will drop this time!

Paulco
Despite the attempts by one of our friends from the east ,using Lemon's exit and the circumstances behind it , as a stick to beat us with . It was obvious the current Glasgow side wasn't good enough and wasn't working . Everybody accepted change had to be made . Lemon became the most vulnerable as soon as Christian Henry himself became a victim of the numbers game at Newcastle , plus the Australian team manager's role could mean some missing meetings come World Cup time . So it's welcome back for a third spell in the stripes for Christian Henry , and goodbye and good luck to Mark Lemon . Whether that is the last change remains to be seen
