WImbledon what a loss this venue is to British speedway, when you went there there was a aura about the place a great stadium and a nice little race strip.Watching this brings back great memories with the great Ronnie,Tommy, and Briggo.Has anyone any news is there zilch chance of racing returning to Plough lane.?

The last great london stadium of the 1920's is looking tired now. I went to over 600 speedway meetings there between 1968 and 2005. Sadly I can't see that number ever being added to.

A shame City really see a really good greyhound meeting on the other night there looked a bit tired on its last legs as a stadium. Was so surprised what Dingle Brown said on the dvd it would cost at least 5 grand a meeting for rental to even contemplate racing returning
