Daniel Smith
Maybe move post into EL section? Is there maybe a way to get the message out to people who don't use this site - facebook, twitter, Radio. newspaper. Â You can copy the link of this tread to all social media pages if you need the word spreading further. Â All the ideas ColinMills comes up with do seem to fall on deaf ears with most Coventry fans. This bloke if I remember correctly isn't even a bees fan yet is doing all the leg work. Â If you genuinely want the club saved get this guy's email address, phone number, anything and help the lad out and not make him do this alone. Â Coventry Speedway fans - THIS COULD BE YOUR LAST CHANCE!!!!!!!! Â Remember, you're now at the last 5 months of this season and down to 2 years remaining very quickly. Â TIME IS RUNNING OUT - IT'S IN YOUR HANDS!!!!!!!!!!

TIME IS RUNNING OUT - IT'S IN YOUR HANDS!!!!!!!!!! cheers mate. ideally, i would like contact with a spokesperson on behalf of coventry speedway, (this can be a fan/supporters club member etc), to be seated alongside Mark Pawsey, in taking questions from the floor..i have no probs in arranging anything, but on the day, its best a Coventry spokesperson is seen, not someone from ipswich..with it being june tomorrow, i am awaiting reply of mr Pawsey on free dates in june, and will then be back on here. thanks

False dawn
Surely this meeting can achieve little if there is no one from Coventry Speedway there to answer questions? e.g. 1. Do we really have 3 years? 2. Why 3 years? 3. Do the existing owners / management have any plans to create a new venue? 4. If yes, where is the money coming from? 5. Why are the current promoters madly signing up new assets, particularly Storm riders, if the club has no future? Â Mark Pawsey could be a useful ally if we have positive answers to some of the above viz planning permission. But without the real powers that be present i.e. those with the money and will to build a future for Coventry Speedway, what do we expect?

You are quite right, i would like to think an early meeting to show how much support there is, get the fans view across, get answers, early on, may- be better than leaving it til the last moments..If Mr Pawsey takes early interest in the campaign and know the ins and outs early, our/your case may be easier to fight further down the line..but hey, if theres support next month great, but its up to you fans in coventry as to whether this goes ahead.. False dawn
Don't get the wrong message. If there is a meeting about the future of Coventry Speedway, I will be there and I'll encourage all my fan friends to do likewise. My frustration is not born out of answering the questions, it's knowing what the questions are. The whole future of the promotion is clouded in mystery. We just turn up week in, week out to support our teams (EL, NL and MDL). Whether or not the grand old lady will be there to house us next week, next month or in 3 years time is somewhat uncertain.
weatherwatcher
You all need to be positive on this one. The Bees need saving for the sake of speedway, they are a team to be proud of. I know what it was like when we lost Liecester and now we are back, don't let that happen there get together on the day and find out the truth. I know it is a horrible thought but if nothing comes out of all of this and Brandon closes, then at least as loyal fans try and get the team to ride at another stadium to keep the Bees alive until a new stadium can be built, don't let it go the way the Lions went with years in the wilderness.
