bigeddiechek
Doolan 7.01 Vissing 7.77 Wethers 6.89 Bellego 6.92 Kus 5.37 Jensen 5.50 Carr 3.00 If Kus goes to reserve, we're just as strong, if not stronger. Hell of a reserve to have, and Steen will have no problem in the main team. As discussed, it's our favoured shape of team Taffy, it's always going to be strong, no matter who moves up and down. YAMYAMBANDIT
Does Jensen stay at reserve for this coming month? Reason I ask is that I thought the 23rd of the month was the calculation cut off for averages? Not sure, but those figures were BSPA averages as of 1st June. I would assume Matej goes to reserve If Kus goes to reserve, we're just as strong, if not stronger. Hell of a reserve to have, and Steen will have no problem in the main team. As discussed, it's our favoured shape of team Taffy, it's always going to be strong, no matter who moves up and down. I have always prefered a team in depth, but understand the arguament for a genuine No1 with the best 2 reserves

fairplay1
Fantastic result Berwick, really looking good and hopefully they keep this momentum up How very true but to keep the momentum up the Riders need paid, winning Team means more points and more points means more Pennys I just hope the Berwick people vote with their feet and show their support, really is great to have a winning Team long may it last..
Roger MARTIN
A few weeks ago I would have argued we would be stronger with kus at reserve. Something maybe to look at getting back to reserve for the play offs. Good return from doolan saw him have a shocker there for ippo and liam carr scoring his average.. great Just going on last night, Steen was by far the better rider, I think he will make the top five stronger, but if Kus cant get some good points at reserve, then he needs to take a good look at himself, a few years back you would never think you would see Matej kus riding at reserve in the British PL. Thats a compelling argument. ...and I tend to agree....but if for instance Kus has been scoring 5 or 6 in the main body of the team...I would fancy him to hit 10 or 12 from reserve. ... Steen has been getting 11 or 13 from reserve. ...I would fancy that in the main body of the side he is well capable of scoring 7 or 8. Still keeps us strong IMO
Fromafar
I would agree Steen at reserve is a better option but this was always going happen if Steen live up to his billing(which has and more)but it is Team effort and the formula is working,Kevin has picked from his slow start which is offsetting Kus a little .things are going well so really no complaints.I think Liam has improved in a tough situation and a big learning curve. To be honest apart from Claus (who has been brilliant)you have no Idea who the match winning score may come from . I agree, it's a real team effort and the formula is spot on. There's nobody that looks out of place in the lineup, and everyone doing the business at critical points in the meetings. Having Kus at reserve is not a bad position, looks like Steen will not be out of place moving up. I definitely prefer the strngth in depth team building. Incidentally, did you see the photo of Josh Grazonek in the newsletter? Very painful looking!

Certainly at home Berwick should still have a big hitting reserve with Kus, of course he will need to do this away from Shielfield if Berwick are to get the true benefit. screm
Sure he will! The rider certainly has the ability, and should be riding with increased confidence giving his scores of late, so we should see the benefit of that. In a way I hope Kus will be fighting to get out of the reserve position asap.
luluthetiger
Paid 6 with a fall at Worky, paid 6 and unlucky by all accounts not to be paid ten at Plymouth? Matej Kus will do just fine for Bandits, home and away.

I was delighted we signed Kus, there were some doubters which was understandable giving some of his performances for Redcar last season but I think recently we have seen Kus riding with confidence and scoring big points for Berwick.
