Wolfsbane
Don't often post on the PL side of the fence but your reserve scores paid 15 at home and you still lose . Someone, somewhere needs a kick up the ar$e.
spanner47
I suppose Worrall got the nod in 15 as he won 13. But we cant moan about only winning by 2, seems like we had a huge slice of luck in heat 12 which gifted us the points.
CardinalSin
Cardinal, where are you in the stadium, come and join myself and Baldyman near the green light at starting gate. Sorry fella! Will arrange in advance next time He's in the queue for the quality Fish and Chips! I thought about it! Good job I didn't judging by the remarks on here! Great result just a shame we couldn't get the full 4 but that's being greedy! 4 points though from Thursday's meeting and tonight and I'd have taken that before Thursday no question. Risager having his most consistent season to date, good lad. Hawkins was buzzing in the pits after the meeting I think he enjoyed this one.. Gino has been an excellent signing and you get the feeling there's an awful lot more to come from him too. Long way to go, but this team SHOULD be top 6 and from there anything can happen..
Rayleigh
If Bowen (second in our averages) dropped his average by 0.18 he would be a reserve in Somerset team. It would need major surgery such as dropping two of Tres, Bunyan and Bowen to get enough points to acquire a proper second heat leader, but I doubt it will happen. so its soldier on this season and hide behind the sofa when Edinburgh and Somerset come visiting. Yet again well, done Kennett you are surpassing my hopes for you this season and without your scores it would get very ugly, Of course keep our chins up and look forward to next year ( I mean it) but after the plans for this season was to have Mellgren, Aspgren, Garrity and Nelson and a No1 things haven't quite worked out
Shadders
If the promotor doesn't listen to his riders and prepares a track the way HE wants it, then we're gonna lose more meetings like that.
Roland
Risager in heat 15 was a joke, any chance of getting all 4 points evaporated. Needed not to come last.....,he was woeful. Adam Ellis crash was awkward, hope the lad is OK

Are you saying the track wasn't prepared how Boxall likes it as him apart I thought the rest of the team rode it as I would have expected? Kennet HAS to win heat 13 he didn't so we lost and apart from Garrity's ef and Hawkins amazing form it was business as usual!!
Super Blue
The decision when leading by 6 going into heat 15 to take gates 1 and 3 was astonishing ! Not 1 heat winner had come from gate 1 the whole night and we pick it ???? Even the otherwise unbeatable Kennet ran a last when coming from 1 . A chance to take the 4th league point truly blown by a simple gate choice in my opinion . To be fair however I believe the turning point of the entire meeting was Garrittys bike unfortunately for him and Rye giving up the ghost while leading , gifting us a 5-1 at a crucial time . Most of the Witches produced solid scoring with only Cam and Adam struggling , which is concerning . ( more news on Adams injury today apparently , hope its good news ! ) Must admit I wasn't expecting the victory but it was very welcome and made the journey home a much sweeter one . Adam Ellis crash was awkward, hope the lad is OKThat is harsh in the extreme on Risager! The lad was good value for his paid double figures and he continues his fine season. Very harsh to single him out for failing to topple a very good and quick home pair (off better gates) in heat 15.
2ndbendbeerhut
the haribo are on you this thursday then!! Would have been 4 out of 4 if I'd listened to the boy! Either way it's all good and roll on next time
Baldyman
Kennett must have been laughing his head off when he was told he could have gate 4 in the last race. Mr sin is also right about morten, he wasn't the one to be singled out, he had a good night and has probably been our most consistent rider so far this season. Cameron is an issue, and maybe Adams engines are getting tired due to so many meetings? Maybe change ridding order with gino and cameron swapping? Rayleigh
Winning At Redcar, winning AT Rye House a point AT Newcastle, first team to not lose to Edinburgh and you lot do not seem to be quite critical. Take a rain check lads.

Alan R Horne
Great win by the Witches and mainly due to Hawkins especially winning heat 14. But the continual worry is Heeps and Ellis (hope the lad is not to hurt) if these 2 do not sort themselves out its going to cost us any chances of really doing well. Suppose its all down to confidence but surely with all his experience Chris Louis can help in this department.
Super Blue
Our problem in ht15 wasn't the riders it was the gate choice, would be nice to know who actually made that ridiculous decision, the riders, the captain or the team manager?? Whoever it was quite obviously had no idea where the race winners were coming from! And as a side issue, the Witches team on paper looks a good one but in reality this season so we have been far from it, very inconsistent with a number of underperforming riders. That's why there's alot of criticism at the moment!

That's why there's alot of criticism at the moment! With Gate 1 not winning a heat all night, certainly seemed a strange choice. Gate 2 4 wins, Gate 3 5 wins, Gate 4 5 wins. So the obvious choice regardless of gate 1 being shocking was to pick 2 and 4. (Gate 1 scored 17 points,) So again a strange strange choice!? Baldyman
Another strange choice was me and superblue still choosing the fish having seen it in the hot cabinet. That was also a no brainer to stay away from
2ndbendbeerhut
Maybe that was the problem, the Witches team had eaten the Fish and Chips and then suffered from Hallucinations?
Super Blue
Maybe that was the problem, the Witches team had eaten the Fish and Chips and then suffered from Hallucinations? Maybe it was all an evil Rye House plan to somehow win the meeting , dodgy fish and chips all round !
CardinalSin
Talking of the fish and chips, has anyone tried the fish and chips from the new shop on the second bend at Foxhall yet? Got to admit I was impressed and much better than I thought they would be! admittedly the chips aren't chip shop chips, just frozen fries probably, but the fish and battered sausage were bang on. I shall return
