Old Crusader
What a dissapointng display from Kent after yesterday. Seems the heads went down and they gave up.
greyhoundp
What a dissapointng display from Kent after yesterday. Seems the heads went down and they gave up. I really wouldnt read to much into this result. Cradleys riders are pretty much all riding close to top form, I mean Starkie and Stevie are scoring pretty well everywhere, Max takes all the beating at Monmore and does fast times, Nathan decided tonight was the night he would not fall in any of his races, and it was a lot to expect your reserves to do to much, i expected you to hit 30, and if Ben hadnt had EF when leading you would have done, there arent many Teams that will score thirty around Monmore, we just have the ALL round depth from 1 to 7.
Mike.Butler
Cradley's team building has done nobody (including themselves) any favours. When will clubs in this league realise its not about getting the strongest side you possibly can? When will clubs in this league realise its not about getting the strongest side you possibly can? Sorry to disagree Mike, but try telling that to Kent, Mildenhall, Stoke, Buxton, and Cradley fans.. Scunny, KL Young Stars, Storm and Plymouth have a different agenda, but even so Storm and KL do try to get there strongest possible side. TMW
it does seem to be how many can you beat Scunnny by and can you score mor than 30 at Cradley. Apart from that the rest are all good fairly level

I agree that all clubs at NL level do have different agenders & this will sometimes happen.
Falcon Hammer
Agree with greyhoundp - Kent tried their hardest whole match, Cradley are just awesome, especially around Monmore. Special shout out for Starke, always looking out for his teammates, top class; nice of him to let Worrall through to complete his max in H15 Well done to Danny Ayres, improving all the time and tried his hardest. Kept shaking his head in frustration as he came over the line behind the Cradley riders - Don't worry lad, this is the hardest meet of the season, onwards & upwards NB: Think Scunny will be lucky to get 15pts next week...
Ben91
It's the nature of the beast. Cradley have put together the best team within the rules. I personally think the points limit should be lower, it'll even teams out that have different agendas. It makes so much sense but it never even seems to be considered. It annoys me to see Cradley fans complaining about the strength of Scunthorpe etc and vice versa, there are merits to both sides line ups and both bring something to the league. It is a league for developing riders as well as for teams being competitive I don't care what anyone says.
westhamboy66
Well laugh at them maybe but I'd rather watch Scunthorpe week in week out than Cradley, yes Ben i share your view about it supposed to be for developing riders but that isn't in the Cradley agenda. One thing is for sure a raw novice will improve when riding for Scunthorpe that is certain.
TMW
NB: Think Scunny will be lucky to get 15pts next week...I said that as I was listening on the radio Well laugh at them maybe but I'd rather watch Scunthorpe week in week out than Cradley, yes Ben i share your view about it supposed to be for developing riders but that isn't in the Cradley agenda. One thing is for sure a raw novice will improve when riding for Scunthorpe that is certain. The country is obsessed with 16 year olds. Starke has come on leaps and bounds since with the Heathens. Blackbird wasn't doing too well in PL till he joined the Heathens and he is flying. Ritchings joined the Heathens for a season and picked his game up. You have to give credit where it's due. They build to the same points limit as everyone else Edited May 28, 2014 by TMW
blueherb777
As a stand alone Club Kent`s ambition this season was a compete and go for the League (according to Management). I am afraid they are a million miles away from that at the moment. Thrashed at Cradley,Coventry and Leicester.

That was the biggest disappointment last night, not able to win ONE Heat. Also according to Updates, our riders were getting beaten by a long way in some Heats. We all expected a defeat but that was a humiliation.

I will not be complaining about the strength of Scunthorpe, in fact i want to watch them so that when they come back next year we will be able to see how much improvment there is.I do think if you lower the points limit the same teams will be strong & the others will not.
Wiseguy
http://www.dudleyheathens.co/news.php?extend.1030 Interesting club statement today suggesting they will move up should they regain the national league title
montie
I dont see what the problem is with Cradley..built a fine team within the limits, thats their choice, before the season it was plain obvious that they were going to give most teams a proper thumping They must have prepared for that to happen cash wise as if you remember they tried to fit Kurtz in at reserve!!!! martin_t
Who knows, with a bit of luck Cradley won't be in the NL next year. Then PL(or EL)fans can moan about us. http://www.dudleyheathens.co/news.php?extend.1030
