Shale Searcher
Bet365 did restart stream, missed one race. Hope Darren and James are only shaken and bruised, and are back in their respective saddles soon, nasty looking that one, awkward landings for both.. stevebrum
The ambulance that is at the track didn't leave. The riders were transferred to 2 separate county ambulances. I hope sincerely you are never in need of the services of a very overworked Ambulance Service. Self praise is no recommendation by the way. Well said. I cannot believe some are more concerned about their precious live feed than the safety of riders.

It goes without saying Neil! We wish them both well. There was obviously more concern for Darren as that was what we watched live !! How are we to know how bad Sarj is,? Not before you decide to use a quote and a biased one at that, from a press release? You have no idea how to deal with your public. It's no surprise that you constantly fail !!
Star Fever
COVENTRY reserve James Sarjeant was taken to hospital after crashing heavily in Thursday’s 54-35 defeat at King’s Lynn. Sarjeant was left with nowhere to go in Heat 9 when home man Darren Mallett spun and fell right in front of him, and the resultant accident forced both riders to withdraw from the meeting. Sarjeant, who initially walked into the medical vehicle after treatment on-track, suffered concussion and an arm injury whilst Mallett was also hurt, with pelvic and hip problems reported. Don't think Darren should've been excluded tbh - it was Garrity pulling a locker right in front of him just as he was looking to go inside that caused Darren to also lock, then unfortunately Serjeant went into him. It was a racing accident really but I know the ref has to exclude someone. Hopefully they just went to hospital to be on the safe side and nothing too bad. Not a bad meeting for Stars otherwise though, once again very solid middle order and Lewis Kerr outstanding. Felt a bit sorry for Nik Porsing in his 3rd ride - it looked like he was letting Harris through but I bet he thought it was Niels! Also should've been in last race imo, he was outgating everyone and very fast and would most likely have repeated it in 15. Coventry were somewhat inconsistent - Hansen faded badly after his first two and Fisher and Howarth were all over the place. Garrity didn't learn after his white line exclusion either as he did it again in his next ride and should've been excluded again. Only Harris really impressed looking faster than he has for ages. I can't wait to see the new myriad of excuses from Woz and the gang of disciples ............... Didnt watch the meeting as I'm at work but reading Mr Bee updates on twitter it seems we threw silly points away early on and no one can do that against Kings Lynn. Fisher scoring poorly again and Howarth away form and missing meetings is a concern. I said the other day I'm wondering if they are looking at making a double change? Seems a no brainer to bring in Larsen otherwise. I predicted a defeat and to come away with nothing but I thought we couldve hit 40 points! One positive was Bombers score, always seems to ride well at Kings Lynn and that's why he is a certainty in the GB side for the World Cup. waiheke1
Well said. I cannot believe some are more concerned about their precious live feed than the safety of riders. Tbf gater1 posted immediately after the crash to say he hoped the riders were okAnd then posted to say live feed likely to stop - he didn't whinge jyst stated the fact. Unless there is some background I'm not aware of re this poster, I dont think there was any ill intent in his postings? (Other than the subsequent c word rant)
Gavan
No, I was abusive first, but I was reacting to his post. Phil needs to deal with this shIIt. It's his forum, where is he? didnt see the quotes but I'm assuming a ban is coming as I had a 2 week one for calling someone a numpty! The multi alias one needs to go! Anyway hope the 2 boys are ok and the Lynn juggernaut keeps on rolling
g13webb
A somewhat disappointing meeting that went on forever. Sincerely hope both Mallet and Sargent's injuries are no to bad and both are back on the track soon. I know when accidents happen they have a big affect on proceedings, but this was a stop- go affair from the start. Every race seems to take a age to complete with re-runs and falls, and the ref must have forgot where the 2min button was. We arrived at the track at 6.45 and it was 10.30 before we got out of the Car-park. Ridiculous..... Very disappointed with the Coventry side, apart from Bomber and Anderson, the rest were abysmal. Any thoughts of making the play-offs can be forgotten if this was a true indication of the Bee's strength. Afraid this might happen, when all the Stars riders come to the party, we could have easily have scored 60 plus tonight without Niels E/F etc.. It wasn't the fact we won the races, more of how the races was won. In many, the Coventry pair was well adrift and offered no race at all. Bomber was the standout rider who battled every race. Anderson was his normal consistent performance. but the rest barely came for the ride.. Obviously please to win but thought the meeting would be more closely fought. Cant have everything I suppose. mdmc82
Yes agree. Change needs to be made but won't happen This was one of our worse performances. Bees are usually better than this esp on the road.
semion
Thought it was an OK meeting. The nasty looking crash Involving Mallet and Sarjgent kind of put a damper on things. ( Hope both riders will be up and about soon). Kerr and Porsing were the stand out riders for me. Porsing is really now comign to the party, and Lambert seems to get better each week. Is it me or have the last 2 meetings ( on a Thursday) attracted bigger crowds than we noramlly get ( On a wednesday) ? It could of course because Lynn are riding high in the League or it could be that Cov and Poole are attractive visitors. Then again the weather on each Thursday has been poor.
IainB
As a Cov fan this was pretty much a shambles from start to finish. Car Park - swamp Turnstiles - A Joke Howarth - Should have stayed in Sheffield Garrity - look at the white line Bomber - What happened in his first race? Announcer - Only 2 riders in every race Delay - 1 Hour, 2 Tractors

If it took an hour. so be it. 4 riders in race announced officially. two KLS riders get cheered on from centre green announcer. why not?
