Odds On
He's a start tart , he missed the gate in each race , race over, he saved the methanol.
SCB
After the Swindon/Coventry meeting and their reaction Swindon HAVE to carry on now. And BV hardly want it off as they want points.
Steve0
Track catching riders out and rain coming down. Do Swindon fans still want it to be stopped like they did when Bees were there? Â Rosco embarrassing himself ranting about that race being awarded and positions when heat 2 should have been awarded It seems both teams still want to ride past heat
manchesterpaul
Noticing that Cook turned away from the nearby finishing line so didn't complete the race. When i was little and first attended speedway i'm sure that if a rider didn't finish the race he didn't get paid. So has Cook just declined money or in these days of signing fees and guarantees he wasn't fussed or do you get paid for simply starting a race? speedy17
Cook is fine on the big tracks in the PL, in the EL he struggles at them. Especially if he doesn't gate. Â Wouldn't be in my team for the World Cup.
Steve0
At least no interviews with the drama queen ! True - it seems Cook isn't worth interviewing

Odds On
True - it seems Cook isn't worth interviewing There's a team manager who is a bigger drama queen than him,and he's not the Acrs team manager. Drama queen alert, Rossiter being interviewed....no sign of any Kleenex needed just yet!
YerRopes
At least no interviews with the drama queen ! Â Happy Soul aren't you... Â Apparently the 'drama queen' is on holiday - Rome apparently according to reports.. Â As for the meeting itself, well done to the Track Staff for getting the track raceable and the meeting on especially considering it has rained non stop since the start.. Â There is no pleasing some miserabilists..

manchesterpaul
Never heard that. Used to be called start money for a reason. OK fair enough although i'm slightly surprised if that's the case as it's something i tend to recollect from commentaries mentioning it, but i not blessed with the greatest memory. Lol yeah i know it's called 'start' money but Cookie in effect turned up for work to get his wages and did no work - ok that's harsh but technically he stopped work and still collected a pay cheque lol. Â Very nice ride by Tofty. Edited May 26, 2014 by manchesterpaul
salty
Michael Palm Toft - take a bow son, cracking ride. Someone posted that this was the worst Sky meeting so far - much better than the meetings from Kings Lynn and Lakeside imo.

Just been backtracking through the comments on here and the updates site and others are not seeing what i see, i've seen lots of passing! and it's nice not to witness a sparse crowd. Â Out of order calling this off, witnessed many meetings way worse than the conditions here and there has been some hard racing recently without any problems. mdmc82
Feel sorry for Belle Vue who were coming more in to this and could have got something from this meeting
John Leslie
Ridiculous conclusion to the match. Â Surely only the team who are behind can ask for it to be called off...clearly Belle Vue don't want it off, so just carry on without the stupid time wasting debates. Â The track was clearly raceable....makes the sport a laughing stock
pointsmeanplayoffs
Shouldn't award all three points to a home team IF the meeting doesn't run its full course.
