nw42
Everyone also appears to have missed the part where 7 time British Champion Scott Nicholls said that the track was dangerous to ride on and visibility was poor, then two heats later at the next check all of a sudden it was fantastic and we should finish the meeting. As to the suggestion Swindon cheated I refer people back to the Coventry meeting last month when the exact same situation happened, team in front doesn't want to ride, team that's behind does and all the fans kick off later about it on the forum. All in all Belle Vue got what they deserved out of the meeting which was nothing, Cook was abysmal and the rest were pretty average yet we are to believe that the weather has screwed them out of a point, na not buying it all just sour grapes Maybe it's you who is missing the point, the track was producing good racing, whether Belle Vue got any points or not is irrelevant, the public were robbed of a fifth of the meeting because, as was clear to see, Swindon didn't want to continue. We can all throw up past events to back up our arguments but just for a moment try taking this one for what it was, a decent meeting on a track producing good racing, look no further than Palm-Toft's tussle with Morris, can you honestly call that a dangerous track? Sod the points, it should be about giving value for money.
Red Robin
To be clear Im not saying swindon cheated, and already state d there is no guarantee the aces would have earned a point. But the question is was the correct process followed? Snd were the paying public unnecessarily deprived of 20% of the meeting they had paid to see? From what I can see, most of the sour grapes is coming from the armchair keyboard moaners, who were certainly not part of the "Paying public"
Fromafar
Riders safety is paramount - after heat 10.Correct there was no way there was not going to be 10 heats tonight riders safety or not.Nigel was telling us that all night. That was a decent track tonight if that was an individual meeting with prize money there would not even had been a track inspection.the riders would have poodles round and split the money *uck the fans would have been the Motto.Disgraceful decision.
van wolfswinkel
What sort of attendance ?.... Belle Vue didn't deserve a point, very poor on both visits to the Shabbey.
stratton
Back from the meeting and I thought there was some top racing giving the tough conditions especially from MPT in his Heat 11 ride. I see the trolls did not decide to meet me but oh well I am not shocked that is why they are called trolls. As a Robins I must admit that it was naughty to call the meeting off tbh I don't think the Aces would have got there point anyway but it was strange to call the meeting off when it was fine at Heat 10 but not at Heat 12. Thank you The Doctor... for your nice comment I appreciate it after the abuse I have had today theblueboy You have over stepped the mark in taking the mick out of blind people and you really should be ashamed of yourself not good at all FINALLY THE KKS SAGA IS OVER FOR ME AS (thecoombdog, Steve0, Sidney, theblueboy, midlandred and weatherwatcher) WERE ALL NO SHOWS TONIGHT! Looked for you tonight in your skirt with the stubble were you there? or have you just finished looking at the video plus?
ABS
If that meeting gets called off with the conditions as they were, we might as well ditch the dirt deflectors. These "magical devices" were slated as being the cure to rained-off meetings. They certainly help, it wasn't as though the riders were coming back in plastered with shale. So if were not going to run meetings when it's a tad wet, then get rid of dirt deflectors and reduce costs for riders. Once again, the paying public have been short changed, but hey, who cares about them anyway?

salty
Getting back to the match, I would say it was Matej 2 Starting Marshal 0 tonight. Looked to me that the guy in the stripes just gave up trying to get Zagar to shift.
nw42
I hoped we could of had a chat and sorted this out it has got way out of hand today. If you really think that why do you keep waffling on and bringing it up then? Just asking...

jimmy jimmy
When exactly did this forum stop discussing speedway and start just moaning constantly and trolling each other. Pretty sad really. Thankfully most speedway attendees don't use this forum anymore.
G the Bee
From what I can see, most of the sour grapes is coming from the armchair keyboard moaners, who were certainly not part of the "Paying public" If these 'armchair keyboard moaners' watched this meeting on a paid-for Sky subscription, they are very much part of the paying public. I, for one, felt more than a little short changed tonight.
jimmy jimmy
Aces short of firepower away from home, Wednesday night is a big night in our season, desperately need an away win to keep up with the play off teams. Cookie looking a bit fragile away from home at the moment. Zagar blowing a bit hot and cold from race to race. Poole away apart, Scott has performed very consistently and seems to be enjoying his speedway.
FrankThePug
My biggest issue is after the moaning about the Coventry meeting Swindon fans are now defending the exact opposite. Have a little integrity and either agree this was wrong or the Bees meeting was correct. I've got no problem with the Coventry meeting we lost it fair and square, if it weren't for the crash to Darryl we would have lost it in 15 heats and frankly you questioning my integrity is rather insulting and totally unfair
The Doctor...
Haha ive got better things to do than look for an imaginery person!!! You are amusing I will give you that. As a neutral, can i ask why a good few of you who jumped on Gater1, it seems none of you had the stones to go and meet them or even look to meet them at the meeting? I hate the phrases keyboard warriors/keyboard commandos etc, but it does seem like he offered to meet up, yet you all seemed a bit scared to back up your online abuse by seeing it through.. Pretty pathetic.

speedwaysliders
You have to feel sorry for Belle Vue,from heat 2 nothing went right. The riders were well into lap 3 before ref Turnbull, who had just finished watching Eastenders,up in the box realized she should be doing something as there was a lot of shouting going on outside which jogged her attension to act on something, about something which she never saw? After that she watched some more tv up to heat 6 when she thought she better cover herself by making the exact opposite decision thinking one decision must be correct!!!.After that she took the dog for a walk ,thinking the weather was a bit iffy, but she went out because that was the correct decision and then returned home Edited May 26, 2014 by speedwaysliders
