Lord Lucan
Mills was getting beat by visiting reserves at home week in week out at home & couldn't even beat Liam Carr (probably the worste reserve in the league) last week so Workington have nothing to loose with this change  Using "Ye Olde" English version in your appraisal Skoobie, I like it!!  Hopefully a change of environment and a whiff of northern air will bring some improvement. If not more changes might have to be made, other riders need to improve too  May have been worth looking into such an event now instead of waiting til even more matches have gone by and only pointing the finger at the new boy, as you say, some guys haven't run up the scores we were all hoping for but, there's plenty of season left yet so you never know, we could be pacing ourselves?  Though defo. delivered methinks. Still has strong links with Alan Hedley, but is I believe now an Workington asset, so regrettably unlikely short of being dropped at Derwent Park.  Not necessarily, Richard Lawson is an asset also, so it's not without feasibility putting Rene on your wish list, whether you get him is another matter!! Could also be that his form is going off slightly by being here too long and he's getting too used to the place, aka RL, change of scenery appears to be doing him no harm at all? Lord Lucan
Richard Lawson is a Lakeside asset  Then I stand corrected, swore blind he was still one of our's and only out on loan with a view to us taking him back when he get's bored with the EL!! Principle is still the same though, club asset's can still be loaned out.
comet49
Yeh, Lakeside bought him but the Comets have an option to buy him back at the end the season.

Taylorj
No pun intended  How likely is he to come back? Not likely at all  Welcome to Workington Simon, .Maybe it will work maybe it won't , but alot were moaning wanting shot of Chris so now you have it , damned if you do damned if you don't . Its only May we have had very few League meetings , hell of a long way to go yet. He hasn;t turned a wheel for the Comets so have to give the lad chance .  Still Believe , ................Hell Yeah

DIAMONDS
What would mills nl average be? Every NL team is only allowed 1 person over 30 years old, so take that into account. Â But he'd be 5.08 with his converted Pl average of 3.05.
mc131
Cheers! There's a few teams cud fit him in if he would do nl
